Very nice group for Lebanon. It is always good to have a warm up with teams like UAE and Indonesia in the 1st round so that players can practice and rest, while being more realistic when playing against Jordan.
And Khalid, don't worry about meeting China in the semis, it won't happen. We always find a way to take the right path;)

i wish the best for our nt,i think we have the skills that make us compete china.so,we shouldn't be scared of facing it in the semis

Inshalla bro. I know we can beat them but it's not easy especially since they r playing on their home court and they could have other types of advantages as well ;)

yea just like what they did the first time we met them in front of their home crowd after the game !!!!!!

I think the 2nd round would be as following: group 1: south Korea- ( philippines or Japan but I think it's Japan) - ( either Kuwait or Uzbekistan)- China- Jordan
2nd group: (phili or Japan I think Phili)- Iran -(Uzbekistan or Kuwait)-Kazakhstan-Lebanon-(most probably UAE)

Team Lebanon will breeze through the first round, but it will be all hell right after that. This team is getting older and naturalizing Americans is no longer enough to win you an automatic spot.

Not cool, man. Keep politics out of the discussion.

The results of Group A will be the toughest to predict imo (Japan, S. Korea, and Philippines are all evenly matched) Sri Lanka (Allah yikoon ma3on = may God be on their side :D).

Iran is the clear favorite from Group B. 2nd and 3rd place will be up for grabs since Chinese Taipei and Kuwait r close. I read once that Irsan Ilyasova (ex-NBA) is from Uzbekistan. If he plays with them they might advance.

Qatar and Kazakhstan will be competing for 2nd and 3rd place in Group C.

Lebanon+Jordan r clear favorites from Group D. UAE should be able to beat Indonesia.

are you serious?!!! the Lebanese NT has a lot of new faces and they are all under 30 so don't u even think that we have an pld team let me give u a brief resume of the playres under 30 with the NT : Jackson Vroman(starter) Matt Freijie (starter) Daniel Fareis(Starter) Antwain Barbour or Omar Krayem or Ali Mahmoud (they are all under 30 and so skilled) Fadi Al Khatib is 30 years old but is still at his best. do you want me to continue?the rest of the players have only one half old guy(Brian Beshara) about the rest they are all under 26 so is this an old team? hehe and with great new players coming from NCAA and best leagues outside such as Turkish and Spanish 1st division

plz stop fighting our nt cause it seems that you're not watching the latest improvements of the team.the skills of other teams are not so far of our nt.

Don't waste ur time answering granadaddy..he's a Filipino hiding behind an American flag..:D

In this formation it will be too easy for lebanon .....
From know we are in the semis

Group F

China(we can win (60-40%) for China)
Lebanon
Jordan(tough)
Kazakistan(easy)
Qatar(easy)
Uae(easy)

The Match against Jordan is the most important match we just need to win on Jordan in first round and probably we will be 2nd in the second round behind China , in this way we will play philippines in quarter finals we will be in the semis and maybe play against Iran and then China in the Final and Lebanon is the winner :D:D:D
