26 more games before the Big East Tournament. It's way too early to conclude about Kobe's basketball career in Creighton.

As much as I'm excited for him playing with decent minutes, let's give it a year before having high expectations.

kobe's situation is much better than japeth's situation. i know he's injured but he didn't show his skills and he end up being impatient and nadala niya to until now. eager to show his worth every game.

Indeed. KP is practicing with top shelf SGs and is learning to play within a system within his role and within his strengths. This has to amount to something in the long run.

Hmm 1 of kobe team mates Zach Hanson got injured (tore tendon) could miss several months. maybe coach Mc will adjust his rotation hopefully kobe can get minutes!:D

3-4 months.. that's almost the rest of the season..

Most likely it will benefit Ronnie Harrell more than KP, since Harrell has been converted to PF. But there's potential for more small ball lineups were KP can play both forward positions.

But the player that will pave the way for more KP minutes is Zierden. If he got injured again (hopefully not) then the SG/wing spots will be less crowded. Hanson, Zierden and Huff are relatively injury prone.

With Zach Hanson out till the end of the season...I think Kobe is still gonna benefit from this...

Hopefully, we will see his minutes increase every game....

Based on the interview with coach mac they will make toby hegner and martin krampelj the back up of justin patton. Expect to see increased minutes from martin. And because toby will not anymore play at PF it will be ronnie harrels benefit as back up for cole huff. The position of kobe with regards PT still the same.

You know, first of all, this is just me...I think the reasons why Zierden is playing over KP are: He's a senior and Greg is just being generous to his senior and he has obviously more experience than KP....but looking at both KP and Z, Kobe is more capable...I mean, he can also shoot threes...it's just a matter of having confidence on the court and you develop that confidence through playing time...once you get that confidence going, you shoot more relaxed...not to mention he's athletic and arguably the most athletic guy on the team right now...and he's capable of drawing fouls...

Come on sir, you are serious?!
KP is NOT the most athletic guy in their team right now. he slow by a step. it lacks power. maybe if he trains real hard, he can be the most athletic guy in the team NEXT year.
Besides, I would rather KP will be the most effective and efficient player in the whole NCAA than be the most athletic guy. A really smart-and fundamentally sound guy always find a place in the NBA.

I said ...'arguably' lol...

He's not a flashy player. I guess that makes him appear to be slow...but he ain't slow by any means..

He would not be able to pull off this steal if he was slow....also, as he dribbles towards the basket...he kind of hesitated, hence he slowed down quite a bit to the rim...

Obviously, if there's an opening, he always explodes to the basket...

OT: Noah Allen is so smooth with the ball...(Former UCLA guard/forward)

Currently ave..19 ppg, 7.0 rpg, 3.4 apg - 32 mpg..

Look at what the playing time can do...Hope this guy gets drafted or picked by an NBA team...He can shoot left and right...wow...

Consensus is in: let's wait till the end of this season before making any conclusions.

As for Kobe, we believe. :D

Actually the scouting report on Kobe is he likes the flair and highlights , and while not necessary slow , speed is not one of his strengths , especially in terms of lateral quickness and speed with the ball (they're actually his weaknesses compared to other American perimeter players)

For me, KP doesn't need to have the same quickness and speed as his american counterparts. He just have to be efficient and effective.
Larry Bird was not as quick or fast than the other NBA players but by golly, Larry Legend can kill you down low, or in the perimeter or even in transition. and this is because he is too smart, and knows how to use his abilities the best he can.
Another example is John Stockton.. the guy is a monster. and yet, he is considered slow, and unathletic. and YET again, he is the number holder of most steals in the league, AS WELL AS the most number of assists. and with a 50% FG effeciency.

Lastly, there is the most athletic of them all -- Steve Nash! and yet, he is not really athletic. he simply knows how to use and attack spaces as well. and he is also a highly efficient player.

If we are looking for athleticism, there is white chocolate. But when he started to become effective that he became a much better player.

In summary therefore, I only hope in KPs 4 years in college, he can be as highly efficient and effective as Bird, Stockton, and Nash.

Thing is decision making is also not one of KP's strenghts , all the greats you mentioned were great decision makers.

So I was talking to some random American guy online about Kobe and he says that KP will be seeing the court with decent playing once he reaches his junior year...

This guys obviously knows basketball judging how he posts...Also, he will have playing time if he can beat 3 guards ahead of him...

If Kobe is already complacent with regular practices, he will basically end up a mediocre player...He has to like I said go above and beyond...Go Zach Lavine route...like train and run in the field or something...

btw, to me..in this video..He shows efficiency...Yeah...I know it's a highlight but...
