they didn't have much going on for them in this game in both offense and defense.
I thought they played better when they didn't have a traditional center in the game (Kardoust & Nabipour).
the funniest part of the game was when Samad was limping after a layup and the commentator Mr. Abolhassani said that "Samad ehsas narahati mikone dar andam tahtani )"

Let's hope all these games help them become a better team for the real event.

arsalan kezemi played well but he coudnt play for a long time
also, mehdi kamrani played well with some shoot (3point)
but samad nikkhah bahrami coudnt play well ,he didnt have good day
and kardoust (number 19) played very bad ,even he coudnt shoot penalti,also he was a bad center of iran in this mach

Kardoust is average but Nabipour is ... I dont know why Matic bring this idiot to this tournament, Doraghi is not a star but at least he is better than this joke !! it's a shame that a 20 yo small forward can play better than these 2.10m idiots as a center !

Samad had another very bad game, two bad matches in a row for Samad ! I can't remember something like this ever happening before !

Davari looked completely out of form, tof too roohe harki ino bord sarbazi

I am really worry about power forward position, Tajik played very bad like Sohrabnejad in Jones Cup. Oshin is good but who is his substitute ?

just like yesterday's match, Kamrani and Arsalan were our best players, also I think Aren Davoudi had a good game.

we will face China sunday for 3rd place match. this is a must win game. even without Haddadi and Afagh and even in China with these referees , this China is beatable !

Haddadi is an integral part of this Iranian team, but even without him they shouldn't be losing by this much.

Javad Davari also didn't play so well, it probably has something to do with the "kafour to ghazay sarbazi " in all seriousness he is a good player and the team needs him to play his A game in Turkey, he did a great job in both last year's Asian championship, as well as Beijing 2008 olympic games.

no mate,iran B team is participating in the asian stankovic cup,while the A team will have some preparation games at nearly the same time under the name of adidas tournament from 6th to 8th of august against turkey,serbia and new zealand

I said the B team is going to play in the ASIAN stankovic cup held 7-14 in lebanon.
This is the A team without Haddadi playing in the continental

U were on your peak in the ABC 2007,and our team was on the rise with a young and unexperienced Haddadi,but you got blown away jus from then.Our only problem was not having an average center.Also with Arsalan geting used to the team we will see his great talents.
I'm still amazed over his dunk on Yi

Also have in mind that we played without our best shooter,Hamed Afagh(the FG percentage talks it all!)
All in all no excuses can be accepted,we didnt play up to our maximum potential.
Plus we're not used to nag about the absence of our players like some teams

all players you have seen are lebanese except vroman as in your team there are samad(was playing in france) and ahdadi(usa) also in lebanese team these players were playing abroad so don't make it a reason to hide your failure ....also about youth team i want to say wait lebanon wich will beat all teams easily

That's true, it's too bad that we don't have a good replacement for Haddadi, he should stay out of foul trouble in Turkey like he did last year.

I think Kazemi and oshin could cover the PF in Turkey, Kazemi is a SF as you said and it's better for him career wise if he plays SF, but since he played 4/5 at Rice last year he has some experience. (Tajik is good too, but on a bad day he isn't much help).

yeah, this "kafour" is really a problem
Davari is an important player. this is why I am VERY angry, other countries are searching the world to find someone "ke nanejaddesh ahle oonja bashe". but we are destroying our best players by our hands.

let's hope he can get back to his own level in less than a month !

Buran jan, what do you think about our final roster ? which 12 players are better ? even though our team is rely on 6 players (now 7 players because of Arsalan) but we can't ignore the role of the bench players.
