take everything komarac says with a grain of salt, according to him everyone hates the croats.

now where did I say evreybody hate Croats:confused: Generaly Serbs and Croats hate ich other, there was a war in Croatia betwen Croatia and Serbia. For that game Serbia closed border for Croatians to prevent any posibility of hooligan fights betwen Serbians and Croatians. Whille in Bosnia and Hercegovina war was fought betwen Orthodox Bosnian Serbs, Catholics Hercegovina Croats and Bosnian Muslims where evryone foght evryone in wich lot of Bosnians from Turkey were invold. Also this goes to Otoman empire. So there is small or large diversion betwen people. But this is way OT and very slipy area so no need to dicuass

This place is getting unpleasant to hang around in. It's full of bullies, and immature cry babies. Even fedfan is getting nasty in her old days.

oh I'm very sorry that you take it this way. This was totally a personal obversation from my own experience and wasn't meant to be seen as bullying or a dig at Spaniards.I'm sure you can speak many languages, and many of your compatriots too but admittedly the percentage of pollyglots in Spain is very low compared to most european countries. So maybe a school reform is in order, considering that the spanish kids rely on their foreign language knowledge solely on public system,in contrary with greeks who have the "benefit" of private education as well.Spain is a very touristic country and as a tourist is very unpleasant not to be able to communicate with the locals especially when in need.

Do not underestimate fedfan... evil is her second name.

You are absolutely right, languages education in spain is a mess, beginning with spanish itself as you pointed out yourself. I did not dispute that. That is also why my polyglotism is irrelevant. But you are no less nasty, this was not my point. ;)

yes that's why I believe that Spaniards prefer to visit spanish forums.Same in tennis, where you are one if not "the" best nation and still so few spanish posters in forums.

But you are no less nasty, this was not my point. ;)
Oh well..what can I do my dear??I can't help it.It's my nature as Arkadios said.:)

the truth, that is why spainrads think now refs don't respect their centars:rolleyes: if you want to see people geting robbed watch croatia-spain 2005 comedy and spain-greece in 2007.

I do accept and recognize it.... it was the only game, I remember, were the refs made bad calls but possitive for us. It was amazing!!! unbelievable, I couldn't believe it...

A though game, Im looking always for it but still havent gotten

yes what about basque?
you can speak, but some choose not.;)

so what ?
it's their natural language. Basque is the language of basques, we are not gonna change that, we have respect for them.
Basque is much older than spanish.

Are you a Basquen? If not, you are way too humanist. Respect!

So u suggest all the others learnt English through the internet?
I wish I could have done that...

No, i suggest that maybe most of the Spaniards have better things to do than argue with a bunch of bitter Greeks.:rolleyes:

great game, average officiating(both sides were doomed by that, seriously).

we had a miserable shooting night but somehow managed to win, probably thanks to our defence. ender arslan played miserably, hedo basically sucked, but great performances by kerem tunceri, omer asik and (I can't believe I'm going to say this but) semih erden saved the day for us.

oh and one more thing, I thought pau gasol finally behaved like a true "man" last season during the Lakers' championhip run. especially in the playoffs, he just banged around, wasn't afraid of contact and so on. why is it that every time gasol plays in an international tournament he acts like he is being "killed" by the oppositon team? if he played like this in the nba, denver nuggets probably would have beat them in the conference finals.

just a thought.

i completely agree with you on this one!!!

He's back to being Princess Pau! (Called him that when i was a Memphis Grizzlies fan)--- to his credit he manned up against Dwight Howard and the Magic in the NBA Finals... But this?

If Spain is going to win the gold in this Eurobasket, he's got to man up not only against the opposition but also in leading (and shouting and screaming at) his own teammates.

oh, but you are missing the point. gasol is NOT the leader when he plays in LA, number 24(as in Mr. Kobe Bryant) is. when he played for the grizzlies, he had to be the leader, and if my memory serves me correctly, he couldn't be that leader.

in my humble opinion, this spanish team's leader should be juan carlos navarro. even rudy fernandez can lead this team more then pau gasol can.

what the...

what the...

su ceneni kapali tut be kardesim. herkesi turklerden nefret eder hale getirdin burada. ondan nefret ediyorum bunu sevmiyorum demekle kendi acizligini kanitliyorsun (maalesef bizim de).

cikar su nefret kelimelerini su profilinden. adam gibi forumlara katil. :(:(

Spain is still the favorite to win this tournament. But it is more than clear that no-one is afraid of them, especially without a clear win yet in the tournament. They will need a win in the knock-out stage to regain the fear privilege again, but this seems more than likely against any opponent possible. Serbia and Turkey are coming next so far, performance-wise. Greece, Slovenia and France are following

i just told him to keep his dirty mouth shut and a few things... :p

One more thing about the game...

Turkey rotated their 10 players. All of them played more than 8minutes. However Spain just used their best 8...

Kerem Tunceri just played 15 minutes (11pts). Then he didnt play because of his minor injury.

Omer Onan also played just 14 minutes because of his fever.
Hedo didnt play the first 7 minutes of the 4th quarter. (He also has some pain on his knees)
Omer Asik also didnt play the 4th quarter until seconds left and then it comes the last final block on Llull.

Whereas on the other side
Fernandez 36
Navarro 32
P.Gasol 28
Rubio 25
Reyes 22

Spanish starting 5 total: 143

Turkish starting 5 total minutes:
Ersan 34
Hedo 28
Kerem 15
Omer A. 18
Omer O. 14

Turkish starting 5 total: 109

Yeah, of course Kobe is the leader of that squad ( ;) Lest you want to be traded, believe otherwise :D) --- my main point here is Pau is probably the most successful of this bunch. He has won at the NBA level, successful at the international level, i don't know why he isn't "capable"--- this was a knock on him when he was with Memphis, he just couldn't lead the team. Now, the Spanish team is a different situation: but it calls for the same cause: somebody should step up and lead this team. Fernandez is probably too raw, Navarro, could be the off-the-court leader but inside the hardwood? It should be Pau, i really believe that.
