Congrats to Serbia.

As predicted Montenegro easily won B divison of European Championship.
Yeah, it was indeed easy, even if there was one team who was able to defeated them earlier... Austria :).

Dasic was crowned MVP, and Sehovic, Jerebko, Pietras and Kolchenko joined him in best line-up of the tournament.

Tepić looked as if he doesn't really cares about this tournament. Maybee it's Vujošević forceing him to play PG and he found himself in some sort of crisis, but he ussually performed much more reliable at much higher level than this one.

Serbia is the only team that managed to win back to back title in U20...

What do you mean he usually pefromed much more reliable at much higher level than this one? Did you see his stats? He had an UNBELIEVABLE game. He actually played better than Labovic or Teo because he carried them when Teo was out.

Bottom line..this is a dynasty. Put them up there with the Bulls, the Lakers, North Carolina, the lady Vols or lady Uconn, this team is one of sports greatest dynasties and needs to be recognized GLOBALY. This needs to be all over Sportscenter.

Teo was unbelieavble shooting the ball. Labovic was unbelievable. Dragovic had an off night, but Teo, Labo, and Tepic great at times. I dont think anyone ever doubted that Srbija would bring home gold, not even after the opening loss. Atleast noone in their camp.

Unbelievable day for Serbia and Montenegro basketball.

And by the way, they really know how to celebrate their victories. Crazy night, after all its 4 am.

This generation will have chance to win World Championship next year. Only thing left.I think Teodosic,Tepic and Labovic are sure passangers for Spain. Teodosic might even start. I would throw Dragovic and Stimac too. Stimac is so great in setting the picks and he is a good rebounder. He is way better than Misanovic.

no he didn't have an unbelievable game, he can play much better than that- and this was actually bad never mind that 3-4 succesfull penetrations that should be taken for granted.
He wasn't hustling, was missing his man of the set screen and he was commiting a rookie mistakes which should never have been the case since he is by far the most experienced player in that team. He was the reason for one of the spanish comeback's and he is the only player there I'd expect him to show enough maturity for that not to happen, no big deal but once more he knows how to play much more reliable at a higher stage (as U20 games aren't exactly even on Uleb Cup's average teams level).
carried them when Teo was out? ...in the first quarter... but definately wasn't carrying them when Teo was out in the 4th quarter- tryed but didn't make it, he even missed both ft's. playing better than Teodošić?!- dunno which game you've watched, but not in the finals?!?
performing reliable and stats can occasionaly have nothing in common, since reliability isn't counted in stats.

Labović unbelievable? c'mmon, relax- he nailed those 3 pointers and had one good back to back basket at the begining of the game... that wasn't unbelievable.

Dynasty= overeacting.
when they'll accomplish what spanish generation 80' did, than they'll be a dynasty, right now they're just a bunch of kids that've won everything possible at the junior level...

no hype needed man.those kids will develope with or without it, while there is a better chance they'll get off better without the hype...

Congrats to Serbia!

Very talented and mature leader (Teodosic) working together with great coach...and every game 2 different players exploded beside great performances of Teodosic.

I am very impressed with Teodosic...not by looking at boxscore but by looking at his attitude on the court...unexpirienced spectator would maybe say he looks cocky and is not giving 100% at all times...but those who watch basketball more closely see that this attitude is what makes him great prospect and also I am 90% sure great player for years to come...it is "no-fear and mature" attitude that you can also see when watching young Rubio...or for example Diamantidis who already reached star-status.

Why am I impressed by such attitude?...because players possesing this attitude show great composure and concentration...they don't choke or bother when they make mistakes (TO, missed shot, etc.)...mistakes don't influance their confidence...on contrary they usually pick-up their game and make huge plays.

It was in semis when Teodosic showed this maturity...Italians started playing full-court press in last quarter and in first 2 ocassions he passed the ball directly into the hands of Italian players that made easy lay-ups...Italy was coming back in those moments...and ususaly even an above-average player would lower his head and hide in some dark corner of the court...Teodosic on the other hand took the ball again and made a three pointer over the hands of Italian player...and I think he even made next basket for Serbia by converting a lay-up...Italy called time-out and I went "WOW".

I am looking forward to this adriatic league season and also ULEB Cup...it will be great to watch Teodosic lead FMP to I don't doubt another great season.

guys do you know anywhere that I can download games from the tournament,or at least the final?PLSSSSSSSSSS

I'm also waiting for that to come up, hopefully it will. I didn't have the chance to see any game.

Good for him if he goes on further learning proces to Obradovic...but IMO he would be better playing one more year in FMP with serious playing time...better playing whole game in ULEB Cup than getting crumbs in Euroleague...also Adriatic League is IMO better choice than Greek League...nothing against top Greek teams but low level teams are hardly any competition...influence of Adriatic League on development of youngsters is quite important....Tepić, Tripković, Teodosić, Labović, Vidmar, Preldžić, Klobučar, Mlakar, Tomič (Croatia) are all benefiting from serious playing time in Adriatic League...not to forget Marko Tomas, Dragič and others who already signed for top teams in Europe.

Are you guys happy with top 5 selection? (Teodosic, Shved, Da Tome, Rey, Labovic)

IMO top 5 should be:
- Teodosic
- Shved
- Da Tome
- Rey
- Vidmar

Labovic really disapointed me with inside game and defence...also it would be nice that every TOP5 team has his own member in best 5 players selection...puff, then they give Slovenia fair play award  - don't get me wrong...it was nice...but what a charity prize for not selecting Vidmar in best five.

Ussually they select the players from the top4 teams, so there is nothing surprising about the selection. Otherwise Casspi would've been selected as well...
Teodošić is the clear MVP and the best PG of the tournament one way or another.
Shved might be selected in top lineup, but from what I've seen there must've been some better SG's on the tournament than that. I won't argue about his talent, but showcase of it was far from perfect.

Credibility for what and from whom? I wouldnt say Im out looking for your credibility man. What was said to lose credit? That they are a dynasty? That they are hated for being so good? [Like most amaying things are].

Please, if your going to throw put downs out about who gives credibility out on basketball forums and whos opinion matters, tell me what was out of line? You must be forgetting one thing...THEY WON GOLD 4 OUT OF 5 YEARS. Show me another sports team that has done than, and not been labled a dynasty. STOP HATING. How can you find a way to look past that and say what was written about them is not creditable?

What else was uncredible? That the team has 4 players than avg about 15 ppg and they were all incredible that night?

Must of missed the uncredible part.

Look, not to go on and on, but people hate things that win over and over. More people have sour tase in their mouth for the Lakers and Bulls than were their fans. People root for the underdog. Its a fact in sports.

And by the way, this team did not have 4-5 guys that would of played 15+ mpg. Aleksandrov? Dasic? Mijatovic? Raduljica? Stefan Markovic? That is atleast 2 starters right there. How can you look past that? Please tell me if i am wrong...

I agree, although I thought it was a pretty obvious 5 selection. I think whoever wins gold deserves 2 spots. Think about it. Labovic was second leading scorer of the tournament, but he honestlz was not the most valuable player for Serbia. Teo was. But Vidmar would certainly of been then 6th man. I thought they would do the 5 man team, and THEN the mvp, having 6 players all together. Then a Slovenian would of been in forsure.

Agreed on the NLB League picture. Labovic´s interior defense, well defense in general, was pretty disappointing. However he did show good foot work in the most. Actually Marko Durkovic showed a series of great post moves in the 2nd qtr helping keep them alive. He could turn into a player.

dunno man, i guess i didn`t expect such a bold, biased and over the line comments from someone like you. I don`t doubt thier quality and most certainly don`t hate them, in fact i won quiet a bit betting on them throughtout the tournament.

I don't think Da Tome deserved really to be in the Top 5. He played an inconsistent tournament (one time 20+ points, the game after less than 5, etc) but Italy won the bronze medal (and he was the player of the game) so FIBA awarded him... i was expecting much more from him.

For sure Teodosic deserved the MVP honour. But we can argue about the other Top 5 selections...
