Referies continue to destroy us! Honeycutt with clear unsportmenslike and Brown with clear travelling not whistled,and 2+1 after that.Obviously Efes has to win no matter how.We are playing 5 against 8...shame on you!

Refs did maybe whistled in favor for Efes, but its not so relevant for the course of match. Its because Zvezda has Milko Bjelica. He's the guy you put in game if you wanna lose

And Dangubic is not SG, but rather PF by the style he plays

Honeycutt dominated the game, imho. This guy is Efes's only hope in achieving anything this year. Otherwise it's another Brown & Huertel show which backfires at some point.

It would be nice to see Efes lose. But I can say that this game had more to do with balance of power than referees. Efes had 28 FT attempts and CZ had 20. Not so dramatic. On the other hand, rebounds are 43-22, assists are 24-16. It is hard to win games when you are dominated in rebounds that much. Efes had 17 turnovers but Zvezda couldn't capitalize on the fastbreak, and Efes kept a 10 points difference for most of the game.

As for Oly-Maccabi game, it is interesting to see that how far Maccabi have come. If they keep their upwards trend they are very dangerous.

Agree 100%. When you lose by a couple of points you can talk about robbery, but when you're swept by 20+ its laughable.
Its a well deserved win.

Maccabi blatantly gave us the 3 point shot and we built a cathedral...

Maccabi's amazing talent in 3-4 players and their hero ball was enough.
Even when they were missing some of their shots in the 4th quarter we couldn't make the comeback.

One of those days I guess and a terrible loss for us...

As for Oly-Maccabi game, it is interesting to see that how far Maccabi have come. If they keep their upwards trend they are very dangerous.

They haven't come far at all, when your opponent shoots with 18% from the 3 and you win by 7 you didn't achieve much.

This reminds me of a game against pao like 8 years back when we went 0/23 or something like that.
We make a good win, then nullify it with a stupid loss.

We couldn't,because Sfairopoulos petakse xartaeto in the whole 3rd period,when we were shooting like crazy.The funny thing is that we probably scored one on twelve attempts.Not a single offensive play.


I hadn't seen Maccabi more than 3 times this year,but I can definitely say that they don't have any issue with their shooting.

Weems seely and ohayon sat on spanulis tale all night with great success

I think its about time ill give credit to Hadar.
His rotations were perfect and he had the balls to bench guadelock for long periods.

Of course Oly shot bricks all night and it helped,
But maccabi took control from the very 1st minute and clearly knew how to play hard.

Oly is the better team, but maccabi made it look different tonight

as you saw my prediction was correct. Oly shooted very badly but it was the same for us too in the second half, we made at least 3 airballs at the end, perhaps more. Our physical condition improves but we are not at 100% as the last minutes demonstrated.

Bamberg with the worst game of the EL season, but Kaunas has also defended well and has scored very well the threesome in the front.

Bamberg is missing 2 centers with Harris & Veremeenko but this may not make any 19 rebounds difference, I'm already disappointed today by my team

I do not know how to go further I'm curious as to how it sees Trincherie and which solutions he is now considering

Olympiacos is like a roller coaster. Looses to Galatasaray, beats Pao in response, then looses to Maccabi at home. They can't perform on a constant basis.
They were rather poor from the start. I think Oly's fatigue came out in this game. In the same way Barca lost at home last week.

But lack of a good stopper/defender under the paint is still noticeable. Concerning the coach, his 5-2 record with such an awful athletic condition at the beginning (he has clearly improved it) speaks for itself.

Those airballs were 'bailout' shots after holding onto the ball for 23 seconds.
It wasn't the same for you, not when Sheeley was making contested shots from 9m at the buzzer earlier in the game (while the whole team was shooting in the mid 60s).

Personally I didn't see a different team from the one a few weeks ago offensively. Just tougher in defence.

Ok..congratulations.fair win..in my opinion olympiacos mind stayed in oaka..with 18% in open shoots you can't win anyone...as for your predictions you had said 10 times in this forum that pao will dominate oly...we see the opposite until now...
