are you kidding me? this idiot?

well......if you were some serius coach with reputation, would you take coaching job in zalgiris?

after few years of romanov in club zalgiris is last place on earth where good coaches with reputation would like to be

Well, at least it means Lithuanian NT coach is not a complete conformist. And no, Trif is not better than Masalskis :o

C'mon, no need for exaggerations here ;) If we'd take away all the history, his behaviour in the past, all likes and dislikes - Trif of course is better option than Masalskis currently. He has experience, character and another thing - he even might be suitable for this defenseless Zalgiris' roster, cause he is more of offensive coach, while f.e. Zouros was defensive one. But it's only theory, none can't take away the history and none forgot what happened. For some it might mean nothing of course, but for some not, so I'd better stay even with Masalskis or would bring back some Grigas instead of that ****

Money can buy everything ;)

I wouldn't go that far.I hated the whole last season when he coached Rytas, but having Masalskis as a coach is almost the same as having an average basketball fan as a coach.Either way he might do pretty well with Zalgiris in the Euroleague, but if he stays until the LKL finals, expect a very hard fight against Rytas, because he just isn't motivated in local competitions.

I didn't know where else to ask this.. does a player with a Cotonou passport count as a Bosman player? thanks in advance :D

DJ SUMMERS leaves MPS

DJ SUMMERS leaves MPS

any news about his replacement? Omar Thomas is a candidate?

Karsiyaka have problems with Mire Chatman? Israeli media report that he is negotiating with Hapoel Jerusalem. Also talking about Dominic James from Aris.

How come Dominic James? is he not getting paid and he wants to bail out? :D

Well.. i wouldnt be surprised if any of the foreign players left Aris. The team is waiting at the moment from the first instalments of the league sponsors, the tv rights, the shirt sponsor(if any) etc.

Aris is hanging from a thread at the moment cuz the current administration has amassed stupid debts but they wont pass the shares on, unless someone takes em with the debts..there are some people that want em but they dont want the current president in cuz he is responsible for most of the debts but he wants to stay in for a variety of reasons. He is also involved with players agents etc.. nasty piece of work. Lets just say that Aris is in a transition stage that if it works there will be some more money flowing into the team.. if not then the situation will remain dire as it is.

So at the moment i seriously doubt that anyone is getting paid until one of those downpayments come through. And also Aris needs a center more than he needs a point guard lets say..

It's a pity though cuz although James started badly with Oly, he started picking up his game and he plays good defense and he is a true PG. He cant shoot 3pters to save his life but he does everything else very well.

I wouldnt be surprised if there were player departures in 2-3 weeks or so..
