Real Madrid, considering an alternative for Qyntel Woods, is interested in Viktor Sanikidze, from Virtus Bologna. Messina was scouting the Georgian player in the Italian city.

Fischer, Nikola and an Israeli at the Center spot in Maccabi sounds like a dream.
Can't say Saras' is my fav. We should still remember Maccabi has the 5 foreign players limit, I'm not that sure Saras sits well with that.

Can you tell me what will be with Lasme?
He will stay in MTA or...?
or...![]()
he has just 1 year contract with MTA?
do you know anything about his plans on summer?
Yeah, I knew that. My bad.6, not 5. The rules remain the same as this season. Saras is supposed to replace Wisniewski, who's departure is almost certain.

Not only saras. According to "Israel Today", Vujcic and Halperin will come back, too.
i deeply hope lasme wisi green pnini will be far from mac as soon as possibile. we need stronger players. just fischer perkins and maybe anderson can stay

Pnini? What has he done wrong?
He's young and talented and should be a good backup SF.
Not less and not more than that.
niko and saras aren t player anymore. they are "ex". we will thanks them forever but actually they can't play at this level. to add them is a fake by mizrahi. in this way he will not spend much and give mac fans names who remember the golden age, but reality actually is different . they are not players right for this level.
halperin , i'd be happy he will come back. he is still a great player.
is very very incredible to see that mac fans would not see how this eventual addings are just to calm them . to add names is different than addings good players
You still don't get it. According to Israeli League rules, two Israelis must be on court at the same time. Plus, there is the identification factor with having Israeli players on the roster that do get playing time. I don't want to quarrell about Lasme anymore as you simply refuse to see how he is changing the opposing team's offensive game. Wiz is probably about to leave, so there is nothing to discuss either. But whom do you want to retain as Israeli players, if you want Green (one of two best Israeli centers) and Pnini (still a young and developing player, one of the top Israeli players available at the moment) out? Sharp is going to retire and doesn't play anymore. Limonad and Bluthenthal? Isn't it a bit too much to have just them on the team being forced to play 40 minutes each game? Getting Halperin back won't help matters either as Maccabi has to have six Israelis on the roster, 4-5 of which are really going to play, at least domestically and some of them in Europe.
Yes, Green is not a bench player. He is a starter for weaker teams and he can contribute only when being a starter with trust and playing minutes. Whom do you want to get instead of him? Rothbart? Kadir?
Pnini is not going anywhere. He is a very valuable part of this team, doing a great job domestically and being a good player for the EL squad, when not being forced to play out of position. MTA won't let him go and they are right by doing that. The only better Israeli SF right now is Omri Casspi and he is unavailable.
LOL
he isn't even young, and he isn't even good for backup. He has no quality, and it should be better for maccabi to release him.The same is with green.
Of course, both of them are players at this level. It's just that you can't make them big minute starters anymore, if trying to go deep in the competition. Vujcic would be a very valuable part of the team due to his unique combination of size, skills and IQ. That is what Maccabi lacked on offense this season. Fischer has no ball handling skills and was afraid to pass the ball (instead he preferred to virtually push the ball into the hands of his teammate), while Lasme cannot post up and doesn't see the court as a center with good passing skills. Paired with good players who are quick and understand how to move, he would give MTA a lot. Saras on the other hand must be a crowd favourite but not the best option. Maccabi has to go with a younger and hungrier player. Halperin is a very intelligent player with no balls. He has to get help from another guard who has no fear. Perkins is good for this but Perkins and Halperin are not enough, especially considering that we don't know the situation with Anderson yet. Eidson has been behaving in the best pattern of Halperin this season, shifting responsibility all the time.
Mizrahi "not spend much". What are you talking about? Vujcic and Jasikevicius would most probably cost more than any other two newcomers. It isn't about not wanting to spend, it's about what is a good investment. And here, both ex-Maccabists are debatable.
LOL
