White Chocolate played last with the Memphis Grizzlies is 2011 before he retired and expect him to be still in shape and can still dish-out those magical passes and make a dribbling exhibition. Wish it'll be an awesome game.

DT, Hope you get a good seat as I know you'll enjoy the game.

I would have loved to watch as I was getting free patron tickets but have to pass-up the opportunity as its my mother's 88th birthday and of course family comes first.

i was really, really rooting for ROS last night but cornley single handedly lost the game for his team...a couple of crucial TO's, a ton of missed layups and close shots...too bad they took the ball out of paul lee's hands, yeng should have trusted the rook especially when harris switched over to guard cornley. i also think yeng should have just gambled on belga instead of sitting him down with 5...it would have been the same had he fouled out and he was playing better than quinahan.

why do i feel cornley is no longer that focused ..... maybe because the NBA summer league had already started.

wow. didn't know Wuysang is playing now for the KL Dragons. :D

maybe they invited him to suit-up vs the nba legends as their imports including belasco had already gone elsewhere. Even coach ariel is at Las Vegas to attend some coaching seminars and clinics.

Paul Lee has his limitations and its alaways showing in the game that matters..he is not that athletic enough to blow by and out jump defenders, he canot use his heft all the time to finish in the rim..

what the hell was that Talk N Text offensive sequence wherein Cornley closely defended Harris in one corner with Harris not doing anything to get away from him. Both imports just stayed in the said corner while letting their teammates play four-on-four. TV Panel said they're probably tired but that was really different.

and the PBA should also think that imports has goals to play in the big league (NBA) so the season should end by june with a 2 conference format. plus players chosen for National team practice early.

With record gate attendance and soaring TV ratings (relative to this decade), why would the PBA change something that has earned them so much moolah?

Sorry Nards, I beg to disagree. I saw the entire game yesterday and while Cornley may have committed turnovers in the closing minutes, I don't think he was distracted. As a matter of fact, I felt Cornley was so pumped up with the game that it led him to commit the said turnovers.

I like Cornley. He reminds me so much of Jamie Waller, the import of Anejo Rum 65 in the 1987 Open. Built like a Sherman tank (as Joe Cantada would say), Cornley moves around though as if he didn't carry excess weight. He can play both inside and outside and gives everything to the game.

When ROS caught up with TNT in the 3rd quarter, we were witnesses to what this young team is capable of doing. They did so defensively by putting out stops to TNT's dreaded offense and caught up by scoring on the other end by speeding up the game. What was sorely missing from ROS' game though was its outside shooting - if they score more than 8 treys a game, it would be extremely difficult to beat them. ROS thrives on rhythm, not unlike the old Red Bull of Yeng Guiao, when they play offense. They move the ball around a lot while looking for the open man. They're capable of driving and drawing, and then hitting the shooter from the outside. But when the rhythm isn't there, they struggle big time

I really want to see ROS in the Finals. I don't know if they will. But a solid game tomorrow and hoping for a healthy Jeff Chan playing will make it possible. They just need one win and it'll be big if they do it this tomorrow.

The key was the stretch when they rested their key guys-- Cornley, Lee, Norwood to start the 4th). ROS's bench (particularly Buenafe) sucked balls and the ROS best five (or six) just never got the support they needed to sustain that mighty 3rd quarter run

Red Bull of old does not have much slashers either except for Miller.. but lots a lots of shooters and low post scorers which the latter is Ros lacked.. and the fact that Cornley and the more passive Norwood as your best slashers did not help either..

But Ros is lucky they have time to adjust once they have adjust they can have a streak again

btw Ros would thank the heavens above if either of Alex Mallari and Keith Jensen fell on their laps Jeff Chan still has not get another dimension of his offensive game and the two of them is offensive upgrade of defense reliable Jireh Ibanes..

and yeah Ronjay is their BENCH player:cool:

you like Ros because they get their player the conventional way (draft and trades which is not lopsided)
still Most important player Gabe Norwood:cool:

i'm thinking ros should spend their 2nd round pick on lester alvarez...they need a backup pg and his steady 3 point shooting will be a welcome addition. heck if monfort declares for the draft, i can envision ros taking him.

But Andy Jao loves tough guards, Marcy, RJ, and Ty are shooters in their own right yet would struggle in Yeng Guiao's team, the Torions, Ordonio, Celino Crux, Topex, wynne and Warren ybanez aren't

Yeng hates diminutive guards though.

Alvarez could be gone by the first round. And yeng might find better use for Canada...

talk about backup guards...ty tang fits that slot perfectly..pressure player and lots of ball i.q as well...playing time man...playing time...Monfort though will be a better guard in the pros than alvarez...and even rr garcia ...

on contraire...ybanez, topex, tang are 5'7 at best...i dunno i just can see monfort in guiao's system. aside from the fact that he is a dead shot from deep, he is tough and loves throwing sneaky cheap shots. :)

tang isn't really a shooter...he is in the patrick fran mold, a little offense with defense as a specialty.
