How many of these teams won't qualify to the Olympics?

How many of these teams won't qualify to the Olympics?

Britain of course is in

Australia should be in barring shocking upset.

China isn't the lock they usually are, then again if they actually have Yao back like they're saying they're still the favorite.

I expect at least one of Serbia, France and Croatia to be there. Wouldn't be shocked if two are there.

So yeah 1-2 teams. :)

A friend living in London told me that Civil Defense Forces and Riot Dispersal Squads are constantly patrolling.

Australia beat China 71-43 without Andrew Bogut, David Andersen, Nathan Jawai, Julian Khazzouh, Patty Mills, Brad Newley, Joe Ingles, Aleks Maric and Matthew Nielsen. What's going on with China this year?!

I'll quote sinobball.

Wang Shipeng out of the Asian Champs because an unidentified Aussie player stepped on him and broke his arm today. BTW, China was leading 14-11 at that point but got destroyed 43-71 in the game, which is about how good they are without Wang Shipeng, Zhu Fangyu (back injury), Liu Wei (back injury), Wang Zhizhi (recurring injury), Ding Jinhui (some injury who should come back in a week), Zhou Peng (serious injury who may not come back in time for the Asian champs).

Oooh that's tough luck for China. They really look ripe for the picking this year in the Asia championships only advantage for them is they have the longest time out of all these teams before their tournament.

On another note Croatia handling Serbia was something a surprise to me.

Day 2

China 53 Serbia 87
France 71 Australia 67
Croatia 75 UK 70

I don't get Yi Jianlian. He can shoot 3s in the NBA but not in FIBA games where the line is shorter?

Sun Yue - what a bust. Don't know how he cracked the Lakers' roster before.

Can't comment much since I can only look at the stats but Australia is looking pretty good. I'd love to see a full roster team at the olympics.

I happen to watch the replay of the AUS-FRA game. Great game, can't take nothing away from Australia.
