) --- my main point here is Pau is probably the most successful of this bunch. He has won at the NBA level, successful at the international level, i don't know why he isn't "capable"--- this was a knock on him when he was with Memphis, he just couldn't lead the team. Now, the Spanish team is a different situation: but it calls for the same cause: somebody should step up and lead this team. Fernandez is probably too raw, Navarro, could be the off-the-court leader but inside the hardwood? It should be Pau, i really believe that.
I really believe that if you are born a leader, you can become a leader(not %100).
But if you are not born a leader, you really have like %1 chance of becoming one.
And Pau is just not a leader. It's just not in his genes.

Well you may be correct because i was expecting him to be one at Memphis and it never happened. Either way, we do agree on one thing: this Spanish team needs an on-court leader and in this Eurobasket we have never seen that. We just don't know who.

My champ pick is still looking strong. My co-host Slam went 0 for 3 on picks today. He wasn't happy with the results, but I'm happy the games were fairly competitive today; it was much more entertaining basketball than yesterday. Hopefully more of the same tomorrow (although I doubt it).

Engin - ankle injury. do not participate practices. did not play in the second game.

hmm,
You'll have to believe me when I tell you that many spanish basketball fans speak english, or at least basic english, but they won't enter this forum for some reason, wheter they don't know it or they aren't interested only god knows. But it's true that even if many of them speak english they choose to post in the acb forum, probably they prefer local news, local events, local teams, conversations in their local language rather than this. And it's perfectly understandable in my opinion.

The problem with us (spanish supporters) is that here are not the numbers of fans in relation of the cuality of our NT (even in this eurocup).

No. In Spain is 1st Futbol, 2nd Futbol, 3rd Tenis (when plays nadal), 4rd F1 (Alonso fever), 5 Basket. That is the sad reality.
