  • Ty Lawson and Motiejunas are rumored to be signing as teammates with the Golden Stars. That's a lot of quality NBA talent going to the CBA in one offseason.

    • Michael Beasley to New York on a one year deal. Didn't even have to ball out in China this time.

      • The flood of high scoring forwards to China continues as Christian Wood and former Big East standout Dominique Jones both sign with CBA teams. Wood will join Russ Smith at Fujian and Jones and undersized beast JJ Hickson will team up with Jiangsu Tongxi.

This could be the highest scoring season in CBA history.

        • Former Sixer Hollis Thompson is off to the Greek league after signing with Olympiacos Piraeus. He could easily be a Darius Miller level star over there.

          • Unsurprisingly, scoring machine Jordan McRae is one of the names being mentioned a lot as a possible Euroleague target. Should be interesting to see if he makes the jump there or goes to China or back to Australia instead. Euro leagues have been losing a lot of targets to the CBA this offseason. Plenty of NBA cuts to be made still though.

            • Brandon Bass is off to China.

Donald Sloan comes back from China to the Wizards on a one year deal. Underrated move to bring in a highly underrated player who is a solid scorer and passer.

In another very underrated move, Toronto signs KJ McDaniels. They really need his toughness on the perimeter.

The Knicks bring in talented combo forward Nigel Hayes on a partially guaranteed deal. Boston does the same with Andrew White.

Miami signs former Boston draft pick Jordan Mickey to a one year minimum deal with a team option for 2018-19. Here's the chance for Mickey to prove he can be the player he was drafted to be.

              • Former Cincinnati PG Troy Caupain signs with Orlando. Highly underrated player. Was very solid at Cincy.

Marshall Plumlee signs with LAC. Can't say this move makes a ton of sense to me.

Boston signs former William & Mary standout Daniel Dixon. This kid could be one to watch as a potential NBA call-up. 6'6" deadeye shooter with a developing offensive game.

                • Jordan McRae signs with Baskonia. Great scorer but we'll see how he adjusts to a much more structured form of basketball.

                  • Quinn Cook to Atlanta and Jeff Whitey to Dallas.

                    • Indiana signs former Mad Ant Alex Poythress to a two-way contract. Very underrated signing. He really showed out with the Sixers.

                      • It seems Cavs and Celtics has made the deal official now:

Boston sending Isaiah Thomas, Jae Crowder, Ante Zizic and Brooklyn's 2018 first-round pick for Cleveland's Kyrie Irving.
                        Sacramento Kings
HERE WE STAY UNTIL THE COWBELLS COME HOME

                        • Interesting.

Cleveland still has work to do because IT can't really defend all that well. But Crowder and Zizic are great pieces in addition to getting a far superior scorer and point guard to Kyrie.

I think Cavs win this one easily with Jae Crowder being one of the two-way players they have been desperately seeking. I just hope this trade won't backfire for the Celtics as their offense may bog down to Kyrie attempting 29FGs per game.

                            • I think this was a horrible trade by Boston. They've basically "outsmarted everybody" all the way to being out of contention imo. They have a fantastic young core but desperately needed Zizic, and they better hope Smart and Rozier can replace Bradley.

                              • Good trade for the Cavs.

Not an enormous Irving fan, but it's still an okay trade for the Celtics, since they were in a tough spot with Thomas (one year left on his contract and probably looking for a max deal while turning 29 and with major injury concerns) and they turned him into something. So many changes that we'll just have to wait and see how it works out on the court.
