thats what I observing Japhet even he plays right in one spurt very helpful na given his gifts he will have his chances look at rafi Reavis Chot ,jong and even Ryan G (now Tim)made him a good player despite of his sky the limit and oozing LIMITATIONS ah wait a minute Rafi is very coachable

willie miller looks like a conference away from insignificance, a season away from retirement. he looked somewhat decent with the 7 rebs, 7 assts, and 3 stls against ginebra, but he is such an eyesore on the court with his slow-motion, heavy-feet, mayabang porma. and 4 pts on 1/7 shooting in 32 mins is just plain abominable.

at some point, coach baculi should try playing maliksi and ababou together as SG-SF combo. the way these 2 guys are playing now, they deserve more PT than the also-ran miller.

Barako may not be the best team in the PBA overall but its dangerous to match up with them in a playoff series as you battle a team with rosters who are not only veterans but vets with championship experience veterans hungry for championship and talented rookies great mix

Japeth doesn't really have the tools to be an inside operator. He's lucky that Chot gave him (extended) minutes due to the absence of Ranidel and Kwill, but once they're back, it's the same old story again (bench warmer).

Ababou is really good, He is just unlucky to share same position with lutz and lasiter in Gilas but even in gilas, when he is given a playing time, he contributes whether its offense or on defense.

I'm sad about Japeth, he cannot post and contribute in other factors like rebound and defense. If he cannot score then contribute in defense and rebound, to bad he cannot do it.

And well, even with FEU and then with Gilas, he really isn't a system player. He'll thrive if you give him a bit of freedom. That's not happening with Toroman and definitely not with Cone.

How about Ginebra?

Hahahaha i think the pba was forced to dial down the hype around paul lee...he still played brilliantly but was held to just 12 points. Ros looks like the same team as last year, they always start strong but finish awful in the elims then get booted in the quarters. At least their at 2 now...who would have though that the matchup of barako and ros would be something to look forward to. What a difference super-rookies can make.
