Haha! Wish I can Nardy. But I'm sure someone else would here. I feel this is a rich source of information for everyone who would want to know more about the members of the past national teams. I took the idea in some of your previous posts when we were discussing about some members of the national team.
Would you recall the composition of the men's basketball team of 1983 (the one that got booted out unceremoniously in the ABC - winning all our games but placing only 9th)? My recollection were Still, Moore, Calma, Caidic, Pumaren, Almario, Dignadice, etc. I don't think Samboy Lim was already around back then as I recall he only joined NCC in 1984. But I may be mistaken.
We'll try to cover as much ground as possible, especially now that the 2010 Men's Basketball Team has just been formed for the Guangzhou Asian Games.

Originally posted by Jay P. Mercado View PostYes KD, no problem. So long as they played in the FIBA-Asia, FIBA-Asia Youth Under 19, Asian Games or SEA Games, then they deserve inclusion here. Let's not include though the FIBA Champion's Cup or any other tournament that allows imports for this may not exactly be our national team or should have been club teams.

I don't have the listing of teams that played in the 1974 World Basketball Championships, the 1975 ABC (I believe this is the team of Jojo De Guzman, et al, the MICAA players who didn't turn pro), the 1977 ABC (I'm guessing Tony Dasalla, Renato Lobo, Emerito Legaspi, etc), and the 1979 ABC.
I'm assuming that the 1981 team for the SEAG was the same team that represented us in the 1981 ABC although I may be wrong.
The 1983 SEAG team in Singapore was different though from the 1983 team we sent to the ABC. I don't have this list. Neither do I have the list for the 1985 SEAG, the 1987 SEAG and the ill-fated 1989 SEAG (headed by Jun Reyes and Jun Limpot) that lost the gold medal for the first time against Malaysia.
