Game will be much closer than in 2nd round... It will depend on if Lebanese NT can limit South Korea from 3PT range.. They are the best shooting team in this tournament

Yet Iran shut down their 3pt shooting in the quarters.

if one of non-qualified Asian teams (ranked 2, 3 or 4th) hosts the OQT. the winner of this game will qualify for the World Olympic Qualifiers. so probably there is more than just 5th place at stake

3 teams Will host the OQT in addition to the 15 other teams.

                    Africa 3
                    Asia 3
                    Europe 5
                    Americas 3
                    Oceania 1
                    + 3 hosts

No chance for 5th in asia to get in in unless they are hosting, and it costed Greece 3 million euros to pay for FIBA in 2008, you think our federation Will pay if they cant get insurance for Fadi ?

Rumours has it (from very reliable sources) that Venezuela paid 5mln dollars in 2012, even tho Olympics were held in Europe, FIBA made crazy choice by hosting qualifiers in different continent, just for the sake of money.
Now starting bid is around 2mln euros, all 3 tournaments might be held in the same continent, just country needs to pay more and has facilities to host the event. From Europe alone there're already 5 bids: Italy, Germany, Russia, Serbia, Turkey. Also Latvia has it in minds, but I doubt it, cause they simply has no such money. Wouldn't be surprised France to join the race. Of course such as Canada also is expected to be among candidates

Too many EU teams. There's no way an Asian team can win any of the OQTs.

                              Rio or bust, indeed.
