Mexico, [1] Canada,[2] Italy,[3][4] the Philippines,[5] Turkey,[3] and Russia[4] are countries that are considering to bid for the hosting rights to the qualifiers.
So yeh, our hope in Philippines... iran will defo not get it. Unsure on japan..they are a nation capable of hosting too.

No chance for 5th in asia to get in in unless they are hosting, and it costed Greece 3 million euros to pay for FIBA in 2008, you think our federation Will pay if they cant get insurance for Fadi ?

Now starting bid is around 2mln euros, all 3 tournaments might be held in the same continent, just country needs to pay more and has facilities to host the event. From Europe alone there're already 5 bids: Italy, Germany, Russia, Serbia, Turkey. Also Latvia has it in minds, but I doubt it, cause they simply has no such money. Wouldn't be surprised France to join the race. Of course such as Canada also is expected to be among candidates
