Not entirely--his "official" birthdate on FIBA site is the same as Damarcus Ellis's birthdate.

Anyway, even the CAR coach said in his blog yesterday that Rwanda had five naturalized Americans, so it's not like there are any big secrets.

Absolutely awful. I saw many bad livestats, design or functionality or both ... but this one easily beats them all in suckidness.

      Highlights:
      - disgusting and absurd "feature": when I choose boxscore (hidden in some listbox instead being displayed by default) not only I see stats for only 1 team (stupid "feature" seen in many bad Euro livestats), but I don't even see all 12 players of one team displayed. I must scroll down to see rest of players - but then I don't see players from top of roster. My comment:

      - 80% of screen is used by really weird illustration in 70's graffiti artists style, while usable data is squeezed in other 20% of screen. It would be great if it was self-ironic (FIBA IT still in 70's) ... but I know FIBA is not capable of kind of humor. Anyway, too big screen but actually tiny livestats.

      - usual FIBA tricks with "registration" - they want your email address for later spamming. But you can put any text in email address box (provided it is in format of mail address, but don't use x.y@go **** yourself.hr, I used that one already) to complete your "registration"

      - funny thing: to enter livestats of particular game, one must first choose "Your favorite team" before being able to see stats at all. I'm no newbie, but that left me puzzling ... until I found out I must click on one of two teams' flags. Of course, I don't know African flags ... so I always click on left of two flags. But FIBA statisticians count "votes" (of all people mad enough to use this) and declare results later. Funny, "left" teams always comfortably wins "poll".

      - annoying thing: list of game's is sorted by date, and not normally = "today's game at top" . As tournament goes on, we will have to scroll and scrol down to find really live games

But main reason I'm writing this is:
This FIBA livestats application causes crashing of my Firefox
(Firefox 3.6.20, I did not tried other versions, nor I tried other browsers, I do not need additional crashes).
It rather hangs than crashes = even worse, I must manually kill task.
Firefox crashed like 7 times in 2 days (and usually it is very stable) , only common denominator was this damn FIBA livestats.
If something is causing your browser to crash recently - then it's probably this FIBA livestats.

Weird. Annoying. Almost completely not functional. Plus causes occasional crashing of browser. On scale 1 to 10 I give it 0 (zero).

--Doesn't work on my mobile device...either crashes the browser or doesn't update.

        --The "lighter" version doesn't work.

A picture of Rutayisire would be nice.

Carlos Mugabo...is in reality Carlos Monroe:

Page Not Found (404): It looks like you're lost... The page you are looking for no longer exists.

He played in 2009 for Rwanda in Libya.

            • Anyone know why Samhan didn't suit up for Egypt? He would have been a real difference maker.

Rutayisire was in the Rwandan roster at the 2009 Qualifiers and at the 2009 Afrobasket. He had No 5 on his jersey at both tournaments.

At the 2009 Qualifiers, Rutayisire led his team to victory against Uganda (93-68). Here is a picture of him and an article about that game:

                http://www.newtimes.co.rw/index.php?...&article=13648

If i am not mistaken, this video is from the match between Rwanda-Uganda for the 2009 qualifiers...

I am 99% sure, that Amandin Rutayisire and Damarcus Ellis is the same person

Also, Ellis or Rutayisire, was with Rwandan NT at the training camp in Italy two years ago. Ellis Kayijuka was also there. He is also referred as Elias Kayijuka sometimes.

                http://www.newtimes.co.rw/index.php?...&article=17478

One of these 20 players that had been there and are mentioned by this article, must be Patrick Fields from Baylor University...

This is Cameroun Curtis Bradley (No 8) from yesterday match against CAR...

                      They are worse than Qatar...
                      What the hell is FIBA doing with that;

The real birthday of Cordeiro "Kayijuka" is on 18 December 1985...

Look what he wrote in his twitter on 6 August:

Now that's some nice work, Watson!

Ime Udoka just got himself a triple-double against Mozambique.

                        • HT: Madagascar leads Mali 30-27

They skipped away to a 11 point lead early in the 2Q but Mali clawed their way back. Should be a good second half between 2 evenly matched teams.

Egypt plays with great passion, Ivory Coast is disappointing against the zone defense.
