Its obvious that Nigeria lacks a back-up PG in case Skinn has a bad day. I wonder what would have been if Umeh would have joined if invited. Even Badmus would have been a better back-up then what they got now.

Well I hope that three upsets in a row against elite European teams is too much to handle even for this very sympathetic Nigerian NT. Yet I love them for showing such a dedicated and passonate performance fighting like there is no tomorrow all the way. Great team!

I am sure Russia will qualify one way or another (either through SF win or 3/4 win), and they deserve to, but it would be nice to see Nigeria go through as well.

Yeah, I agree with you. It would be very nice for Nigeria to qualify fr Olympics 'cause they surely deserved it. After first game I thought that the best composition of qualified teams would be Macedonia-Nigeria-Russia (in alphabet order) but sadly Macedonia blowed its huge lead and lost it to rather primitive DR team all by themselves. Worrying sign for European basketball that 2 out of 4 Euro teams are stopped in QF round. And we don't know how it turns out for Liths today.

Can you guys tell me how Russia plays ? I know nothing about them, but I know they have Kirinlenko and Mozgov, are they better than Greece ?

If Nigeria can qualify, then we can lure more players to the team like Festus Ezeli, Kelenna Azubuike and Ben Uzoh.....I really hope we can do it....good luck to Greece in the future, you guys are very good fundamentally and I love the way youmove without the ball, Nigeria needs that type of coaching....

Yes, you can call extra players in case you qualify. But I don't think that Nigeria needs many additions. Just a PG instead of Oruche is fine. If Ben Uzoh is available, that would be great. Udoka also deserves a spot, if he wants to play of course. But it will be unfair to leave some players from the current squad out of the Olympics.

Nigeria must built on this team and try bringing all these players together even for the Afrobasket. If this squad was last year in Madagascar, then Nigeria would have qualified directly for the Olympics.

Yes I agree, I think we might need a 7 footer as well, Ezeli or Alabi. In regards to the future, we need our organisation to stay consistent, they have been really bad in the past.
