UAAP Season 75

officiating almost destroying the beauty of the game. first, the unsportsmanlike foul which could have decided the outcome, then the make-up (?) non-call ...

slo-mo slaughter, slaughtered in the paint. for a supposedly vaunted ring protector, la-salle had about 30 pts in the paint against him ... for a time there it was the la salle bigs who made the paint a no-fly zone

buenafe seems to have lost basketball IQ when he piled on the pounds.

team captain webb, allegedly telling his team mates to keep it together ... ha-ha ... says the epitome of savvy & self-control ..

jeron teng - still lacks the skills to become a become a compleat offensive player, always trying to force the issue, ala-hoy, he can't be overpowering people for his entire career ...

ravena - 1st full ravena game I saw, now I'm a believer. shades of abarrientos & samboy here. off the hustle then back pass to salva for the assist ... 16 4th quarter points, 12 rebounds ... and he's not in the uaap mythical ??

Ravena is the real deal. You could see that when he took over, the game literally slew down for him and he was controlling the game on a yo-yo. He changed the pace of the game completely and ate DLSU up with his 3 point shot when they kept going under on him in the PnR. He's really amateur baketball's King of Clutch.

Ravena can take over a game if he wants to.. its just that he is more of a team player that he goes with what coach norman's system gives him.. talking about maturity and basketball IQ :)

The game was so nerve wracking. My blood pressure raced up, my fingers were twitching uncontrollably and my whole body vacillated between extreme joy and absolute fear during the whole game. I was with my bro and we were absolute nervous wrecks even hours after the final buzzer sounded. And we only watched it on TV.

I don't think I could take another game like this against DLSU. It's just too much. I heard from our respective buddies who watched the game live that there were many alumni from both schools who were given emergency aid and rushed to hospitals during and after the match.

bcoz of the 4th quarter take over of Ravena yesterday i believe he should be in the Natl Team. and "dukot king" Andrada deserves a second look.

Andrada really deserves a second look. Good positioning, i think he really embraces his role.

Why is rabeh, buenafe, ravena, chua all have the same butt, hips, legs? Their lower half all look the same. Parang dorian pena.

With all the ravena talk, i still have faith that the guy who beat him for jrs. Mvp - kevin ferrer - is also going to be A fixture in the national team. All he needs to do is be consistent and the game will come easy to him. A super athletic 6'5 guy who can also knock down jump shots and play lockdown D. Parks scored only 12 pts on 4/12 shooting mainly coz of this guy. He can be compared to cardona...it's either you love him or hate him..either way, it's understandable.

I also believe Kevin Ferrer should be invited to the Cadet pool. He is a prototype SF for our NT.

Aldrech Ramos + Ronald Tubid = Kevin Ferrer. We need someone with his SWAG on the NT..
What a game it was!!!!!!! #ADMU-DLSU

Players who deserve a cadets tryout:
Vosotros
Andrada
Mariano
Ferrer

Philippine team with college all starts in the roster has never been seen outside seag for quite some time already..

Ferrer could be a mobile version of Ranidel de Ocampo, imagine Ferrer playing for Yeng Guiao,

I am not yet sold with Kevin Ferrer.. he needs to be more consistent.. he just average 5pts per game before their semis with NU.. anyway, he has the tools to be a really great player :)

Of course Kiefer should be in the cadet pool. But he should be played/trained as a PG.

Not really looking at Yutien Andrada for the cadet pool. He's like a Nelbert Omolon 2.0 with those dukot moves.

Kevin Ferrer had a good game vs NU with 15pts in the 1st half finishing with 17pts. He's an intriguing prospect for the cadet pool.

Kevin Ferrer might be our Tayshaun Prince, a righty version.
