The Lebanese Federation invited 19 Players to attend the meeting that will be held at 4H00 PM on Tuesday 22 May 2012 in the Federation to Start the Preparations for our National Team for the West Asian championship that will be held in Jordan
Also Ghassan Sarkis and the Federation Are Discussing new names to Choose a New Naturalized Player for Our NT

i agree with but you guys , but there is 4 names very important that nobody mentioned ( daniel faris 2m7 ( im sure he might be better than charle , ahmad brahim nacc and ali haidar 2m1 both will be the lebanese basketball future and matt freije )don't forget we really need size , even if we will qualified for the world cup we are gonna face their big guy , and you guys remember thats how we beat france since we start with joe vogel brian bechara and roy samaha along with fadi and rony. so for me i think that the best choice for the national team . pg ( 2 thats enough , ali mahoud and rodrigue . forward ( fadi khatib , jean abel nour ,ghaleb reda , ahmad brahim , bassel bawje, ali haidar ) ( a center naturalized with charle tabet and daniel faris ) and the shooter matt frieje .

You forgot that our national team needs pure three point shooters to win strong countries where they are rony fahed,omar el turk and matt freije, I don't care if Sarkis don't want them, we have to find quickly a solution for that problem. I think that they should be replaced by mohammed ibrahim,ghaleb rida and elie stephan.

If we don't have enough time to naturalize a new player before WABA starts we should immediately call back Jackson Vroman to the team because he will helps us a lot to qualify to fiba asia cup.

his attitude turned to be extremely harsh... and his basketball level dropped dramatically .

as for the NT this year, we will go for a Big center ( young ).
we will most probably miss : Fadi - Ali M - Rustom - jean - daniel .... for personal reasons and/or injuries.

a young Big Center should be our main goal now for naturalization !!...ive been saying that since the very begining !...but of course no one will answer us or even take us into consideration...anyways, a young pure center (max should be 25/26 yo) is definately needed; however, New blood should be called NOW to the team while Fadi and the other veterans are still with the NT !! and not to represent the NT with no experienced backup on the team (like the last version of the smart-a$$ ghassan sarkis' version...)

Matt,Fadi,Abdel Nour, (i know ntg about Rony Fahed's recent level, so i dono if he can still perform as before, bas u know Roni, he's the surprise man on the court),Ali Mahmoud or Rodrigue Akl ,rustom,stephan,Kanaan (although his level is neutral...but can help in some moments defensively...) should definately be in the roster, of course with a naturalized player as we speak! Ahmad Ibrahim should be given the chance to play with th NT by khatib's side and gain some experience from now, and the stupid GS should put his ego on the side and think of the NT for once ! William and Daniel Fares could be also added to finalize the roster...

I don't think Garnett Thompson should be our naturalized player because first he is not a scorer neither a center and there is many young foreign players plays better than him and not to forget he is not a good shooter.

The federation is negotiating Micheal Southall who as I think is better than Garnett Thompson in style of playing.

Micheal Southall (211-C)(USA) Is a Pure Center while Garnett is a Power forwad ,a fast player ,can score ,assist !!
while Southall is more as a deffensive player ,a Pure center ,atheletic ,good rebounder ,good shotblocker and also good scorer and can play the post very well !!

Hey guys, its been long since i wrote here. Glad you are still doing the mission
Garnett Thompson will be our nationalized, since we have no time to enter in negotiations with other players, even though we had chances to bring Michael Southall but WABA asked us to submit the players yesterday so we had to go with Garnett.
Having Fadi back is always something that comforts us, since he's our leader and he can cover the other major absences (with Ali M and Rustom confirmed out of Waba, and Jean 90% as well).
Now the biggest problem we r facing is in the center position, since Charles Tabet, Ali Kanaan, Williams Pharis are out of the country, while Ali Fakhreddine had an injury, while Roy Samaha said he needs some time alone to work on himself then he will back later to the national team so there is only Bassel Bawji and Jad bitar left. So this is a problem. The federation is doing his best to bring Tabet and Kanaan back. Both are important to our roster, especially that Ali Haidar can't come too.
The good news is Ahmad Ibrahim is coming as cofirmed by the federation ad its good for him to play alongside Fadi.
