Smodiš confirmed that Barcelona is very interested in his services, but on other hand Barca needs to agree with CSKA about the buyout. He said he wouldn't mind going to Barcelona if both clubs agree on ammount, but it is very unlikely.

Smodis departure may also release a payload of cash for the CSKA: 2.500.000€ + taxes.

Now CSKA have Khryapa, Vorontsevich, Lorbek and Kurbanov to play PF, seems to be enough :)

IMO, if Jankunas and Jasaitis eventually will go to Prokom, it would be huge step back for them, especially for Paulius. He,s on the peak of his career now. So, what the point to play for so such AVERAGE club? Euroleague? Quite doubtful argument...

Do you really think that Jankūnas would like to play in Poland? This is just silly rumor. pačėsas simply asked "Would you like to play in Poland?" and Jankūnas answered, "I think about it". of course it is a laugh.
I think Jankūnas go to Gdynia only if he did not receive any other proposals
 
Does anyone from Russia knows if Mike Wilkinson has really signed in Triumph, as some sites wrote? Triumph official site hasnt any announcement about him and there is a rumour in greece that he might be returning to Aris...Any confirmation from Russia?

I read on some russian web site , few days ago that Shabalkin and Wilkinson are close to join Triumph, but seems thats not official yet...

Then the answer is no..

The reputation of eurobasket.com is less than impeccable. If here were to return to Aris he would be a starting five player easily in the PF position.

according to Triumph's GM & head coach Eremin club had some problems with extention contracts of other players. so may be they decided to do it at first. Shabalkin confirmed negotiations with the club. as for Wilkinson Eremin said they are in touch with three foreigners but didn't definite them.

Not really. A 1y-contract extension for Philip Zwiener last week, that's all. Julius Jenkins and Immanuel McElroy already got new contracts mid-season. It's rumored they want to extend some players to maintain some continuity (candidates should be Wright, Sekulic, perhaps Dojcin or Nadjfeji) and others will most likely leave (Femerling, Sesay), although nothing is confirmed yet. Jacobsen left for Bamberg.

We haven't even got serious rumors. :-( Only the old Bajramovic rumor.



ALBA Berlin confirmed roster 09/10 so far:
Hamann, Herber, Zwiener, Jenkins, McElroy, Chubb

Isn't it a bit odd that they are in the qualifying rounds for the euroleague, yet they haven't done any serious transfers?
