I've read the thread about Childress in the Olympiakos perhaps, and I must say that if we continues in this way, there won't be a lot of competition soon or later.
But we saw what happened for pana last year, so there's a hope.

First it's only rumour : they wanted sign A.Parker, R.Davis and some other NBA players, but nobody sign a contract...

Well but there's a trend in our favorite sport.
Even the mythical maccabi soon or later won't be enable to compete.

I think the good cheap deals in signings will be the key for the next seasons.

it seems that josh childress arrived in greece at 10 in the morning(greek time).
he is supposed to have agreed with oly for a three year deal with 20 mil dollars.
many greek sites report that is a done deal and unless sthig extraordinary happens he will sign before leaving for usa.they write that he will also search for a house before he goes.

let's wait and see.

Last season John Turek was the best player in the (small) team of Optima Ghent in the Belgian league. 2nd rebounder of the league (after D'or Fisher who moved to Maccabi). Played 35-40 minutes almost every game. Not the most physical player, but good positioning in the bucket, smooth moves to the rim. poor shooter though, missing lots of freethrows too.

i'm curious how he will perform in a better team like Turow, lacks shooting skill to be an excelllent PF, lacks body to be an excellent C, but decent player after all. had some injury problems throughout the season (back problems i think)
 
Domercant is free because they sign one year contract with Dynamo, and if Blatt really want he signed with him 2-3 weeks ago, but Blatt didn't do it. And few days ago president Dynamo told that they will sign with very good player, which everybody in Europe know him.
 
Aleks Marić rejected Zadar, as reason he said that he got a better offer from some Spanish club.

Yes, he sign with 2 teams - first with Armani, next with Ural Great Perm. Somebody from Italy, few days ago in this topic wrote about this. I think he will ban, because no other way in this situation.

he had sign in Milano and 5 days after he signed in Perm.
now he'll be ban for all season 08-09 to all championship Fiba-Uleb, I don't know if this desqualification is valid also in NBA
 
Tamar Slay(204-SF-28) will a AIR Avellino player. He come from Capo d'Orlando, where he had 16.4 ppg with 59.1% in 2ptsFG and 35.5% in 3ptsFG, and catch 4.4 boards.


Avellino owner confirm this with the press, and he sign a two years deal
