The previous thread already contained too many posts, so discussion resumes here.

Some guidelines to follow (props to JPF aka Matiz):

1. keep it clean and polite
2. try to stay away from one lined posts (and "source?", "link?", etc)
3. use edit button, instead of posting 3 messages in 2 minutes
4. read at least some posts before posting your news
5. this thread isn't and never was for euroleague and UC rumours only, but try not to report every single transfer that happened - instead try to judge on which one could be interesting for others.

The same newspaper also mentioned that Alba is interested in Edin Bavcic (again). Concerning Bavcic, there was no previous discussion on the fan forums.
No, check again. He was mentioned five days before the newspaper posted the rumours.;)

Omar Cook to Malaga, two year-deal starting at over a million $ per.

Accordind to "Maariv" (not yet a link), Effi Birenboim insists to sign the "Fish", Will Solomon.

havn't we learned in our three-peat title in 2006 prague that Solomon isn't the guy for Maccabi? arrogant piece of sh!t I hate that guy badly.

That's not a PG for Maccabi, the guy thinks of himself and his shooting %.

Hmmm

Do you really want to go into this conversation? Because I don't remember PAO to stop being interested on a player because of money. But I can remember Olympiakos. Oh, for the same players actually.

It was sarcastic (rolleyes emoticon, rings any bells?), and you just failed to see it...read again...

today Goalday.gr (again...)wrote about the interest of PAO for Morris and possible departure of Saras to CSKA.Xm something is smelling here and where is smoke is always a fire..Saras in red?xm why not.without being arrogant (at least trying :D) i will welcome this move.Except we wont see the old Saras from the past he doenst suit the style of CSKA (strengh, defence, teamplay etc). Its time for PAO to bring athletic and more consistent players at the guards.
and something that is dedicated to VasileiosSpanoulis666.Man you are proved right. In goalday.gr it is written that PAO is searching for SF (as everyone knows) and possible candidates for them are Morris!!!!!:D
in the end noone knows which is MOrris position:D

I don't beleive Saras shall leave Pao and go to live is Russia. The only reasonable options for him are to go to Barcelona or Tel-Aviv, two cities he loves. I suppose he shall stay in Pao.
As for Morris, he is a PF and a PF only! He cannot play SF in Europe in any way!

Jasikevicius close to CSSKA according to various Greek media , with a bigger (!!!!!) contract than the one he has with Pao. Apparently there's a buyout of 250.000$ that expires in July 15.

This probably brings Papaloukas closer to Oly.

It was published, and not denied by Sienna CEO, that there is a good chance Mcintyre shall be bought by another team. Someone has a clue where he is heading to?

yea maybe he loves TelAviv maybe he loves Barcelona but if big cash exist you love even the devil:D
so
CSKA - Saras
OLY - Pap
PAO - Mcintyre?!!!xm hot summer i assume

Huge mistake if we trade saras for mcintyre imo. Can't get behind it

I don't believe that might happen. CSKA and Jasikevicius...doesn't sound good. And offcoure, there wouldn't be much hope for other teams than (wouldn't be much even without him).

its not so tragic.think this.although he is a short guard and this is a misadvantage with tall guys (even if this is a possible serious reason for not sign to PAO) he is excellent defender, very fast, terrific shooter. On the other hand he is crazy sometimes like a authentic American. If Obradovic persuade him about his role in the team he will definetely be a good addition. But maybe PAO is looking for something more proved.I thing Planinic would be excellent sign.Dont kill me i just dropped a name nothing more:D
As about Saras and CSKA of being "total destruction machine" dont be so hurry.

The only team which will lose in this McIntyre- Papaloukas- Saras trade will be definitely PAO.

I don't mind Saras leaving that much, but only if a great, tall and good defender European guard is acquired instead, for example Planinic or Zisis.

Unless PAO sticks with Diamantides, Spanoulis and Verginis at PG and acquires a star SG like Delfino who can cover the 3 pot as well and is pretty affordable. Saras' departure will free up a large portion of the budget (not to mention the extra 250K cash from CSKA for his buyout!) and I'm all for it.

Although I have to admit, I will miss this crazy dude if he goes... just like Siska... even if it was meant as a joke... behave
JPF

Sorry for taking the Signings thread OT again, but since the 'PAO future' thread isn't moderated and has turned into a circus I can't post there... so bare with me here.

And Siena:rolleyes:

No offence to McIntyre who is a good player, but what do you do with a 1,75 tall (or short), crazy, american, playmaker that cannot play SG due to his size? Especially when there is diamantidis in the team? Bench him for the time diam plays? Play with both diam and mcintyre and put the team in his hands and diam at SG (Mac can't play sg due to size)? And for that lose saras while signing all these bigs? Moreover letting him go to cska so paps goes to oly, thus both getting stronger? No i cannot find a single reason for this move...
