this loss isn't really that bad for people with lower expectations for this team...

Aguilar should play strong. He should learn a thing or two from what marcio is doing on court. It's the spirit more than the height and heft.

And the dunks will just be the icing on the cake.
 
that number 14 guy from lebanon he'll meet his match in the future. he's lucky this is not powerade team with coach yeng. otherwise yeng guiao would have already instructed a player to retaliate...

yeah this is a genius idea......................but wait bro do you know that the administrator will be violating international law if they block IP adress its a form of hacking you know, thats a far more serious offense, you can even be charge as an acomplice for sugesting it:D!

i sugest they make a new law here that says those who are banned are not allowed anymore to join using another account whatsoever.

if only toroman can coach pba stars and if only pba stars can have schedule for international events.... pba stars + doughit or any naturalized big = ?

haha... that was before they became really familiar with his system... ;)

unfamiliarity to that system in 2009 gave them more freedom to create...

now, they know the rules, they follow the rules

yeahhh i notice, they were hiding before cause gilas is hot now that it cools off and lost they are back in droves!:D

no wonder my good friend myron is throwing a diva tantrum, sugesting the admin here to violate the freedom of the internet, not that i blame him and ofcourse i support him 100%
 
is it time to quit dreaming of success internationally and just settle on just watching the PBA. After all a number of posters here say its the best basketball in the world.

with our best High School team San Beda getting beat by the Singaporeans, our supremacy in basketball may now be just part of history as now our neighbors are one-by-one catching up on us and are now beating us.

Then after the current PBA superstars ..... are there really players in the younger generation who could compete against the best of the rest of the world.

Let's just concentrate in billiards instead.

theres no way a very strong team like gilas will lose to lebanon its just lebanon are perfect on there 3 points attemps and don't forget the refs here on 2010 jones cup is conspiring against gilas!

it will be a win win situation then, with douhit and slaughter on the lineup..PBA players are experienced in those kind of pressure even though they are just playing locally,

They had 2 months to practice before the FIBA Champions Cup. The system was already there. Its not like they are running some of those plays last year when they were playing FIBA games. The high double screen has been there since last year, and they are still running it now.
 
Argghhh, hate losing but what can i do?
Haysss, good luck is all i can say esp in
their next tournament, the stankovic cup,
and with Douthit which i believe will be unable to play,
im not expecting that much unless we got some
reinforcements (williams or whoever) which i doubt.

Oh well thats life, hopefully next time luck will be on our side.

the system we have right now is working but the physical limitation and mental toughness of our players just ain't enough for the current level of play here in fiba asia...

we didnt keep on feeding doughit the ball... doughit at the post = double team....

in the first half we were able to involve him on offense and he gets doubled so execution was easy and lots of open shots are available...

in the 2nd half, we got too comfortable we settled on mostly screen game to get the shooters open instead of mixing it up with making doughit work on the post which draws double teams and results to good looks...

slaughter sucks! is basketball his greatest passion?
