well, Vietnam is dragging down Thailand with them, no tyler lamb, Moses morgan, jalen lomax..
The eligibility rule is a dream scenario for Kenneth Duremdes, let MPBL create the team for this tourney hehe

Indonesia will lose Prosper but they will still have Jawato on the team. My bet is with them for the 5x5 and 3x3 silver medal.

What do they mean by naturalized players? Is it the FIBA definition, or legally naturalized? Because if it's legal naturalization, then Prosper, Ange, and Jawato won't be available.
 
I think we should send a developmental team for this SEA Games, as we always have before last time.

Hopefully, I can see this pool:

Guards: Anonuevo, Hontiveros, Nelle, probably Nonoy and the favorites Padrigao and Fortea
Wings: Policarpio, Lazaro, Lopez, Harris, Credo, Bahio, Sanchez, Amsali
Forwards: Ong, Quiambao, Salvoro, Sollano, Mason Amos
Bigs: Demisana, Gagate

for the love of god SBP, don't let chot coach this team, might as well summon monteverde or ayo to coach this team. Or have Nenad head this development squad

Monteverde and Nenad would be nice. Hope they can consider Monteverde. As a UP grad, would be nice to see him develop a squad for the SEA Games.

UAAP season might be ongoing, though.

We'll probably send a PBA all star team coach by muti titled champion coach like Cone, Austria or Chot and decimate the competition by 50 points every game.

Goddamn if that happens, man. Sure, UAAP season would be ongoing that time. Still, the likes of Caelum is available, and even Torculas and maybe some of Lazaro, Credo, Padrigao, and Ong, as they are likely on the Team B of their schools this UAAP season. Maybe Mason as well. At least make them shoo-ins for the SEA Games lineup.

The PBA wanting to stay relevant, well...
 
So Juzang bros are eligible? Dierker too since they have viet blood anyway. Are we misinterpreting?
 
Not too worried about it. If it's no blood, no play. Only Kouame doesn't make the team when he desperately needs game time apart from posting up 6'6 centers in the UAAP. It's another story if they won't allow even half-foreigners who are citizens. Remember Tab had Douthit with practically a UAAP/NCAA All-Star team (minus Parks) that nearly lost to Thailand in the semis back in 2015. Honestly, they should just go back to the tryout system ala 1997... Jomer Rubi, Rommel Adducul, Danny Ildefonso, etc. Invite a shitload of players and whoever shows up makes the pool. At least it guarantees a coach has some time to work with players.
