Russian coach has cut Ponkrashov and Vyaltsev from the Eurobasket roster. http://www.sport-fm.gr/article/basket/ektos-rwsias-oi-ponkrasof-kai-bialtsef/3103045 Ponkrashov seemed to play well in Russia's last preparation game, so this decision is a little surprising.

Right now its only rumor, but Ponkrashov, Vyaltsev and Voronov out, Baburin in. Another crazy decision for our management.

It's not final decision if I understood correctly, team meeting is arranged tomorrow, so then will be clear. It'd be really surprising to see Ponkrashov bein' cut

Few mins ago In twitter rus journalist Roman Skvortsov wrote that Ponkrashov told him that was not coach decision, its managment decision, gen manager this team is D.Domani, one of the Chernov-Anikeeva squad. Circus-squad.

Instead of leaving added to the roster Baburin(Nizhny Novgorod), Pavel Podkolzin and Sergey Tokarev(BC Novosibirsk), very interesting to see Podkolzin on this level, this guy destroy all opponents in russian superleague in last season, Tokarev was MVP superleague 14/15.

What the hell is going on there? One of the "silovik's" getting bored in his life deciding to turn things around a bit even if by everyone elses opinion they shouldn't be?
It's sounds just as before the 2013 eurobasket, when handfull of observers mentioned Russian team had too many difficultis off court to perform well later on when it mattered.

Voronov's agent says that it's a war between one or other Russian basketball groups...
No surprise knowing Russia. Even in Lithuania there were some inner problems couple of years back. Sad to see this though.
