so i guess return to Alas for Jaja? bit of a waste for her imo to just not represent any NT. I dont think Japan would want her when shes eligible look at how young Captain Serena Koga retired.

Sir Joe,

it's all up to her, if she's still interested enough to play for our womens Sr. team

in modern day Volleyball, it's all about Power and Precision with the purpose, to make sure once you smack that ball make sure it's little to none for a return volley.

unfortunately in our womens volleyball culture, still, it's all about "pa-cute volleyball"

"ika nga sa basketball, tumama lang sa ring un bola. ayos na, pa plesing plesing lang". trans. less effort on power spikes, but rather more on drop balls

I think that is why Jaja decided to change NF because aside from his dream of playing in the Olympics and win a medal of any colors on any FIVB sanctioned tourney

the system and culture of Japan's womens volleyball are already rock solid compared to us who's still in the infancy.

realistically, Jaja are eligible to play for JAP starting 2031 the earliest or 2032 just in time for the next Olympic cycle after LA208

but Sir Joe we had to be fully aware that sports politics is everywhere, so personally I won't be surprise on the other hand

"kumpadre, amigo, eh baka naman puede naman natin pag usapan yan, baka puede natin gawan ng paraan yan:" trans. what are friends/allies are for".

Yeah, her husband and his team being harassed by the volleyball fanatics with recent events doesnt help.

FB_IMG_1726330888905.jpgSo Alas Pilipinas men's volleyball team grouped alongside Iran, Egypt and Tunisia.. I have no idea how good Egypt and Tunisia are but Iran is a powerhouse team in Asia and VNL regular.. so that's expected we will lose to them... Via rankings, Egypt is rank 20 and Tunisia is 24, while we are rank 61... So we have to double time our training and recruit more good players here and outside the country atleast to have a fighting chance to be in top 2 in our group...

we do hope we could get some leeway in getting those Fil-Foreign players who are interested to play for our Mens Volleyball team.

MB like 6'9 Kyle Paulson the grandson of Johnny Jose a Filipino tennis player of the 60's and 6'6 Lucca Mamone of Long Beach City College but I think he is now under CrissCross of Spikers Turf.

6'6 Setter Cameron Wurl of Univ. of California @ San Diego is hard to ignore.

we do hope we could still discover some talents with height for the coming May 27 to June 3 training camp in June
