wow!! what a fast paced game by ros and powerade earlier.. one of the quickest I have seen...

yeah and TY Tang and Arana were the quickest guy to turn over the ball... and shoot even the ill advised shots:D a product of evil ways in Basketball:D

ROS should give more minutes to their rookies.. RJ Jazul and the others... tho RJ Jazul is kinda slow..he is having a hard time catching up with his guy..but he made a good pass and shot I guess:D

lol:D sus naman, its like comparing these RoS player to the rest of the guards in the world.

Improvement is still there, TY and Arana are still young guns compared to Sol Mercado and RP basketball is still flourishing, it still needs time and more competition. The system (college ball) is not perfect, but its the system the only thing that SBP can do is to improve it.

Ray Parks might have said that pinoy college hoops is still inferior compared to the States but it doesn't end there, he will be scouted, guarded and be held to low a scoring affair and soon enough, the Parks enigma will be broken and our players will improve.

The two MVP teams won their games against two SMC teams...now, looks like there will be a brewing trades among the SMC teams!

I don't think BGK is badly coach... with Jong and Siot in there they form a solid coaching stuff.. it is just a badluck so Meralco got the W :p

but I like the PBA now.. more physical or I am being Ignorant again coz I haven't watched the games for a while.. BACK ME UP:p:p

well hopefully those guy will learn...they are still young.. it is just Im pissed because I haven't seen a Mercado or Norwood do their thing because of those guys...:p:p:p well I am just an ignorant fan/poster or whatever:p

yup, Nic Belasco got a forced retirement since Meralco didn't gave him a contract. Ken Bono is with Barako Bull, Junthy might still be with BGK, and Chris Calaguio was trying to vie for a roster spot in BB together with Marvin Cruz, and Marvin Cruz was the one who was chosen to join the team, that and Sunday Salvacion arrival prevented any sort of chance that Calaguio making it to BB.

You know the times they're a changing when even Barako Bull can be picky with it's players... you'd think they'd grab the first morsel they can find... As for collegiate MVPs finding no slots, (Bono, dela Pena etc) dela Pena who? Does'nt it only reveal how much an NCAA MVP award is worth?

The much "beloved" Recah T. once commented on the Arwind Santos led FEU championship saying it was some entertaining "ugly ball" (something to that effect). The oft-used catch-word, "paradigm shift" is needed among the coaches of college ball, for one 6-5 players should no longer be compelled to play center. And drop all those under 6-feet Jordan wannabees not named Keifer, & especially power-playing 6-3 & under "centers".

Compel/develop 6 ft above players to hone up guard skills, shooting, passing, dribbling... Put a premium on team play & assists, in short, back to basics geared toward international ball. Although USA won the gold, not all teams can be as athletic as them. I still believe we will profit more from following the European model as opposed to the American. Knowing that we're "softer" (mas malamya pa) then even those Europeans. But we should copy the American defense. Drop buko ball.

(mere recommendations from an aspiring know-it-all)

Wow someone's really pissed at the Ateneo. You didn't pass the ACET? :D

I'm not so sure on whether B-MEG can pull of a trade with other teams, unless it's all about trading Niño Canaleta.

I think we must find some teams who currently need a scoring punch on their line-up. But, the needed part of B-MEG, which is a big man, are very scarce right now and pulling a trade that doesn't benefit the team could be critical to their campaign.

Why don't they try to look at the free agency pool? A player like Homer Se and other notable centers could be the answer to their big men problems.

IMO, I guess B-MEG just have to live with what they have. Don't go into trade negotiations too much. Come next conference, the team will be complete once again.

Whoa, Ali Peek doing the "itaktak mo" on Maierhoffer last night!:D:D:D
