33-32 smb

welsey with 11 pts already.. maybe it has something to do with those "agimat" thing on his head.. lol

Air21's lineup looks formidable, so young and oozing with potential. It looks like SMB is freelancing as of this moment..

On a side note, Lordy is in the game. Wesley Gonzales is feeling it :D

plus Rabah is a real deal 10pts against SMB defense..

Let's give him a few more games please. Because if this is true, then Hans Thiele could be the real deal as well... That said, more than anything else i am impressed how Rabeh is getting these points as he has shown has a legit mid-range shot and is willing to bump bodies with the big boys.

Guevarra meanwhile... is just nervous.

If only BMEG's frontline is healthy.. I want to see Rabeh go up against the Sampayan brigade.

I think to say that Guevarra is nervous is an understatement :D He looks terrified out there :(

stupid refs at it with the fouls again.. just because of yeng's reputation

Air 21 now collapsing...

But leave it to Artadi to open the door--- with his atrocious free throw shooting.

It's being called both ways. Somebody want count the average count of bodies on the floor per quarter? :D

halftime score:

49-42 smb

rabeh with 10 pts and 4 rebs... wesgon with 15

hontiveros with 10 to lead the beermen..

lots of fouls being called today... what happened to the rule?? its probably because air21 is physical??

That's the way to play..Physical!

But the players must also remember the line between playing physical and dirty..

not when ther refs keep calling a foul here and there. I thought they're gonna let the players play the game??

Which game did you watch? For a stretch there many calls against SMB and AIR--- some were borderline bad, most were there to control the game as it was getting very physical.

What is most important is that it has been very consistent so far. They are allowing defenders to (completely) body up their opponents and this is where we can see the physicality come in. i guess it was frustrating for the Express because it looked like they were on the wrong end of the calls but it was happening to San Miguel too.

i don't think the referees were perfect on this day nor think that the system of having a more physical (more non-calls) game is perfect but i think it's the best kind of officiating if they really want excitement for the fans. And well, players just have to be a tad bit tougher from now on, or if you don't like the bruises inside, consistently be a threat from the outside and make them--- this is very obvious in the five three games of the season
