(although the sloth and the giant anteater are still my favourite animals...)

(I would like it if our fan groups had such names. "Honey Badgers" (Medojedni Jazavci :p ) sounds much better than "Alcatraz"...

They could print stuff like "We will devour your larvae!" on T-shirts...)

Yeah, and we are pretty happy about it (some are even ecstatic :D ).
We have all started to get worried about losing Aleks Maric (and not having a descent replacement) and having a strong center has become a part of Partizan's identity...

But than came Nathan, and now I can't wait for the season to start...

What do u think about Partizan in EL this year ? The coach Dusko Vujosevic left Partizan to CSKA Moscow,bunch of great players left also:Maric,Mcaleb,Roberts
,Rasic,Vranes... What are your thoughts on Partizan this season ? As always Partizan starts the season as almost completely new team. How far will they go this time ? Any thoughts ?

Well, it's much easier to answer now. I think that top16 was the main goal, because we're definitely not one of the top 8 teams in the competition.
Still hoping for a miracle though...


On a different topic, anyone who is interested can watch full length Partizan games on youtube. They are being uploaded by user underPFC.
(since these videos are on youtube, they're easy to download. There is a bunch of "youtube downloader" programs available free, and most (if not all) browsers have "youtube downloader" add-ons available)

It might be easier to find your way with google video search.

Also, the IBN videos/downloads section is a useful resource if you want to find and download Partizan (and other) games.

So how would you guys rate Nathan Jawai's season, and most importantly, is he looking fit and healthy?

Playing wise - horrible, worst player ever in Partizan :(
Fit - yes he is strong as a bull but intelligent as one as well

This is nonsense...Jawai was not bad at all for Partizan.

9/4 on 67% shooting is very good.
 
I must agree with Marko, and just to add that Jawai don't know how to play defense at all. Jawai is not the quality for Partizan. He was signed to be our first center, not back-up, and I can't remember when we had a player with less quality on this position.
 
They signed Miljenovic. It's a wrap. He'll have a breakout season with Partizan ;)
 
In the past weeks, Partizan lost two of its school best prospects, Marko Guduric (SG/SF '95) & Stefan Nikolic (SF 191 '97). Both will play for FMP next season, Guduric for the U18 team and Nikolic for the U16 team.

Meanwhile, Partizan is showing interest to recrut slovakian prospect Michal Cekovsky (SF 206 '96) and two of the best prospects in Bosnia, Djoko Salic (208 '95) and Adin Vrabac (202 '94). Both played for Spars Sarajevo and were tested last month by Lottomatica Roma. Vrabac is member of Bosnia U20 NT, while Salic is on Serbian U16 NT list.

Could someone name current squad of Partizan? I know there're quite a lot youngsters under contracts as always, but got no idea who will stay, who will be loaned and etc.

From what I remember:

PG: Law, Bozic, Miljenovic, Pesakovic (?)
SG: Kecman, Milosavljevic, Bogdanovic, Jaramaz
SF: Cakarevic, Lucic, Cekovskyj
PF: Djekic
C: Katic, Besovic

Some positions might be not accurate of course, so any corrections are welcome. Thnx in advance, guys ;)
