PAO vs OLY in Greek Cup final

Pao fans don't talk much about waterpolo which is not so strange considering their team isn't really a good one..
not even a mid level one for european standards..
edit and waterpolo is probably only fifth team sport in terms of popularity in europe..

Panathinaikos in water polo for year was struggling between A1 and A2. This season they are currently 3rd.

You are right about the popularity of the sport in europe but in Greece it is blown out of this proportions by "red" media since Olympiakos is dominatingg the sport in Greece.

This might work as well.

when it comes to this, it only make Oly fans who talk about Batiste look silly.

Twism: Let me guess, the journalist was Magoulas, right?

Yes, of course it was Magoulas. He is the only one who does the NBA broadcasts regularly every week. I suppose u don't rank him high among greek journalists. However, he does his homework as far as NBA is concerned. He obviously prefers NBA over European bball and he shows it in every occasion by bashing european bball. That's the bad thing. The good thing(4 me) is that he is the only bball journalist that differs himself from the bunch(with the good meaning of the word-if there is no such, sorry I used a wrong word) of bball journalists that worship defense and consider it the only way of winning.
Of course when it comes 2 european bball I rank the opinions of certain other journalists higher, that's why I said I didn't accept that opinion fully. I just feel there is some truth in it.

Yes, moving picks are not called as in the NBA.

Yes, Magoulas is an idiot and this doesn't have to do with him loving the NBA so much (only).

His obsession with Shaq is ridiculous. He was saying in the All Star Game that PauGasol does only 1 thing on offense, but Shaq is a god. I remember last year a game that he was bashing Amare and he was saying he should learn something from Shaq, then how great Shaq was playing and Amare finished the game with 30+ points with good %s and 10+ rebounds and Shaq had something like 12 points. If I remember correctly, Manu scored a crucial layup in Shaq's face, but according to Magoulas, Shaq was "all that" for the Suns.

He is a moron.&-

PAO only has to control offensive rebounds. If he manages that and keeps his tight aggressive defense as well I don't seem him losing. If he keeps donating ORs everything's open.

Actually Amare is a worse defender than this season's Vujcic. He can score 30+ points with Nash on the team, can he do it without him? And Shaq has been the most influential player in the last 15 years, at least after Jordan retired(from the Bulls). So there is a point in the general comparison in favour of him. I hadn't seen the game u refer 2, so I have no opinion about what u say.
Anyway, the game is very close, Panathinaikos seems 2 have an edge, not because they r leading, but they just seem 2 b more confident and 2 know what they should do in court better than my team. We have 2 raise our tempo at the right occasions and exploit Pargo more. And we have 2 break the full-court press of PAO that delays our offenses so much.

hei man !!
it works !!
but it works very very slow, and buffering all the time :-(

is there a way to see the game offline, after it is finished? to download it somehow, so i can see in good quality?

thanks!!

Ohad
I'm watching it perfectly with no cuts, I'm using Firefox (with IE it had the problems you mention).
Wait a few hours and the game will be in the A1 video thread in the video section.

Panathinaikos wins it finally. Congratulations 2 them, they just hit the shots they had 2 make, so they deservedly win. They were the best 3p shooters tonight and they won.
This is european bball, enjoy...

Two huge Diamantidis 3-pointers, amazing shots. Things are getting more complicated for Oly.

Yeah PAO are pulling away thanks to Diamantidis.
I'm sure Olympiakos are missing the presence of Childress at the current moment.

Congrats for PAO, tough luck for Olympiokos.
Olympiakos played a very descent game imo.

Yannakis is such a stupid coach unbelivable what a loser, dam. EVEN WITH LEBRON AND PARKER OLY WON'T BEAT PAO WITH THIS COACH. GOD DAMMIT
