he applied years ago but he never got drafted.
dustin coloso was 8th pick by red bull in the 3rd round (#27 overall) in the 2003 PBA Draft. players drafted in the 3rd round ahead of him were 1. Bruce Dacia of FEDEX (#21 overall), 2. Rob Johnson of GINEBRA (#22 overall), 3. Ralph Emerson Rivera of SHELL (#24 overall). 5. Jenkins Mesina of PUREFOODS (#25 overall). 6. Ariel Capus of STA. LUCIA (#26 overall), 7. William Kahi Villa of TALK N TEXT (#27 overall. then the rest where 9. George Christian "Jec" Chia of COCA COLA (#29 overall) and 10. Stephen Padilla of ALASKA (#30 overall). San Miguel passed in this round.

Another Fil-am taken by Red Bull in this draft was Clarence Cole who was taken in the 4th round (#34 overall). Who played with Shark Energy Drink in the PBL.

Maybe he's a member of the JV team (for those who don't know, it's equivalent to a Team B here). Either that, or he did enroll at San Jose State but played only at the intramural level, just like what Greg Slaughter did at VCU.

John Carillo Is my wife's Cousin pure blooded filipino. his family roots is in binalonan pangasinan. Actually he tried at san jose state but unluckily he dont get the position. hes a pure shooter just like noy castillo. he last visited phil last summer of 1997. he is just 14 or 15 back then he played good basketball at that young age. right now we dont have communication.

hes not included in the upcoming draft. he dont know what to do to apply. besides her mom dont want him to be here in the phil. i dont know why

I suggest he instead applies for the PBL draft in october or get in touch with a Liga Pilipinas team before he considers the PBA. He's got to build a name for himself first. PBL applications can be downloaded online at http://www.philippinebasketballleague.org/news070808.php

Does Fil-Am Guard Joey Deas Stand a chance

Does 5'11" standout Fil-Am guard Joey Deas stand a chance at being drafted and playing in the PBL since he missed the draft camp?

he seem short..di kaya ma carney lang to? translation: does he stand a chance against the top players in manila

He is the starting Pf of AUF Great Danes under former Feu stalwart Enrico Gascon. Carney is a Pinoy born in Angeles City to an American father. With regards to his style of play, he is a clone of harvey carye, high energy player stands about 6-3. He can certainly play in the PBL and La Liga. For him to make it to the PBA, he heas to improve his perimeter shooting to play the 3.
