Congratulations to Indiana for winning the Big Ten title. Michigan put up a great fight and the game would have gone either way.
 
Kansas U overpowered Kansas State to win the Big 12 tournament. Ben McLemore had a dissapointing game but Jeff Whitney stepped up for one of his memorable career games.

Meanwhile Indiana suffered a very dissapointing exit at the hands of Wisconsin.

Ohio State over Michigan State

While Louisville had a shaky start but pulled the game together in the second half to win the Big East tournament over Syracuse.
 
Louisville seeded #1 in the NCAA Tournament after selection Sunday.

I've got to go with Louisville this year. I'm a huge Michigan supporter, but they aren't playing their best basketball. In recent weeks, they've been exposed defensively and on the boards.

Quite right. Everything went really downhill after losing Noel and the Wildcats were left out of Selection Sunday. They will play in the NIT tournament.

Next year, it will be a better year for them.

Three games I'm watching:

(6) UCLA vs. Minnesota (11)
UCLA maybe ripe for upset as Muhammad is expected to carry the load while Jordan Adams is not playing in this tournament. So UCLA only has three guards at natural and we could see Kyle Anderson play some off-guard or even point guard to relieve Larry Drew. Minnesota has the two unrelated Andre and Austin Hollins. While Trevor Mbakwe and Rodney Williams are eager for an upset.

(2) Georgetown vs. Florida GC (15)
Going to watch Otto Porter as I hope he gets drafted by my team.


(5) Oklahoma State vs. Oregon (12)
The duo of Marcus Smart and LeBryan Nash are future NBA players while for the Ducks, Arsalan Kazemi and Tony Woods will have to bring in their rugged rebounding game. I like the Ducks and their balance attack.
 
Almost an upset for Davidson against Marquette, but Vander Blue's layup with 1 tick left sealed a 59-58 win. Great game in all, I thought Davidson will do it.
 
Memphis survives St. Mary's 54-52 as Delladova's corner trey missed. Josh Pastner and the Tigers were relieved of a nerve clinging moment.
 
Good defense for Oregon as they limited Oklahoma State and its dynamic duo with an on the fly tap zone. Ducks win 68-55. Arsalan Kazemi starred with 11 points and 17 rebounds.
 
Shocker: California upsets UNLV 64-61. Allen Crabbe played the best game of his life. Those missed free-throws will haunt the running rebels through out the summer.
 
Missouri lose again in the first round, they messed up a bracket. Had Harvard winning against New Mexico lol
 
Florida Gulf with a 10 point lead mid 2nd!

Come on! Pull this off for history! (well for the nth time, but still)
 
A couple of squash matches tonight:

Louisville crushes Colorado State 82-56.
Michigan St. cruises past Memphis 70-48.
Michigan's offense overpowered VCU 78-53.
Arizona boots out Harvard 74-51.

Marquette and Butler is looking like a good game.

St. Louis just fell to Oregon. And they said the Billikens were Final Four contenders. So much for my bracket.
 
Looking like Butler is slowly inching away from Marquette. Vander Blue can only do so much for his lonesome. Blue and Rotnei Clarke are having a shootout. It is a nice preview of what can be expected between these two for the new Big East next season.
 
What a game. Marquette and Vander Blue making a comeback and wins over Rotnei Clark and Butler 74-72. Blue scored 29 points to lead the Golden Eagles into the sweet 16. Hats off to Butler, they played well too.
 
The first No. 1 seed to get upset is Gonzaga. Wichita St. wins 76-70.
