Sagesse Fans in Michel Murr Stadium (Away)

it Was a Great Game in Murr Stadium ,in Hoops Home Stadium ,Hoops at their Stadium are really hard and they are playing well ,it wasn't easy at all for Sagesse ,they had a really difficult Game but Quincy carried Sagesse on his shoulders and won the game ,after a hard first Q ,hoops were playing well but Sagesse Came back with a Huge performance by Quincy Douby who was unstoppable and they won the game by 12 to make the serie 2-0 to face Hoops tmrw in the 3rd Game in the serie and hopefully they will end it with a 3-0 !
Bad News for Sagesse Fans ,that Elie Stephan had a big Injury ,a dislocate in his shoulder unfortunately !!

What a Big Game in Amchit ,it was really a great game with a Very good level in Amchit Stadium ,all the players were fighting to win this Game ,but Amchit were better and had a lead and they were fighting a lot on every ball it was more like a wrestling between the 2 Teams ,Amchit were Great on Defense and played very well on the off. side and they stopped all Champville off. Weapons not to miss that many problems happened and many fights happened btw The fans and also the players ,but it was obviously that Amchit arrived today to Win the game or to be dead and they succeed in their mission and tied the serie to 1-1 ! until they will face tmrw Champville in Dik El Mehde
About the players performance ,From Amchit the Trio Sabah-Whiteside-Emmett were Great specially Hassan Whiteside who had a big Game ,as for Champville side all fans were waiting to watch Massey performance but unfortunately he didn't impress at all as his first appearance ,it's the Lebanese League one of the Best in Asia !! A huge player like Massey was stopped today and didn't adapt and had a lot of Difficulties in today's game

What a Huge Serie BTW Champville and Amchit after Amchit tied the Serie to 1-1 ,Champville at their home won infront of their fans ,also Ghassan Sarkis re-used the Duo Nikoloz-Jeleel and Massey out after a Disappointing in his first game in Amchit but the story is not here ,the story come with all the problems in this serie really a bug Fight happened in this Game ,after all the Trash talks BTW the players also wrong calls from the Reff's specially on Amchit Side that cost them a foul trouble on Whiteside and here all the game changed not to miss it was more like a wrestling game really ,all the players and specially champville side are playing really tough and in an aggressive way that can make injuries for other players and here i m mentioning Khalil Aoun ,Hussein Khatib ,Jeleel Akindele ,Karl Sarkis they are fighting ,and after all these not to miss the chants of the fans (Champville Fans) against Amchit in a unproper way ,and this serie will never end in a normal way !! After all these attacks from champville fans ,Coach and players amchit will surly reply at their court in the same way ! in the end of this game champville were up by 3 with 32 Sec left ,a big Fight happened BTW Karl Sarkis and Sabah Khoury and this fight involved all the players and Ghaleb Rida Was Disqualified from the game after he came up on the Reff's Table !
it will be an intersting serie ,also Yesterday there was Game 4 on Monday but Amchit Stadium was closed and they didn't let Enter Champville team to the court and the court was closed so the Fed. decided to Postpone the game after many calls from Amchit to take Decisions concerning all champville Attacks (Fans-Coach-Players)
and if we want to Talk in Politics Way ,Amchit team concern the President Of Lebanon ,Pres. Michel Sleiman while Champville Team concern the Aounist Part !

Unfortunatly the Serie BTW Champville and Amchit has ended in a very bad way with a lot of difficulties ,after postponing the game on Monday and and after many problems ,they had a lot of meetings on Tuesday both of Champville and Amchit Side with FLB also with ISF Security to discuss about this game that took the intention of all Lebanese People after all these problems so the Fed has decided to make the Game on tuesday at 4 P.M in amchit but Champville attended unlike Amchit so the Fed decided to make this game on 10 PM on Tuesday (The Same Day) and also Amchit Stadium was close infront of Champville and Again Many meeting with ISF President Marwan Charbil and also both of Amchit and Champville side with FLB and Amchit had 2 conditions to play this game ,First to Ban Champville Fans after all their problems and to have a Referee from Europe ! And for sure these conditions ,the fed can't make them in Few Hours and At Night ,the time of the game Champville Bus arrived to Amchit Where All Amchit Fans were there more than 3000 Spectators and they closed the road infront of Champville Bus !!! And also Amchit Team didn't attend one more time and President Suleiman Stdium was Closed another time Also no Referees !
So The FED decided to Make it a 20-0 For Champville ,and Amchit out Of the League after all these problems in the playoff !! and Champville won the Serie 3-1 To Qualify to the Final 4 waiting for Riyadi-Bejjeh Serie !!

Unfortunatly the Serie BTW Champville and Amchit has ended in a very bad way with a lot of difficulties ,after postponing the game on Monday and and after many problems ,they had a lot of meetings on Tuesday both of Champville and Amchit Side with FLB also with ISF Security to discuss about this game that took the intention of all Lebanese People after all these problems so the Fed has decided to make the Game on tuesday at 4 P.M in amchit but Champville attended unlike Amchit so the Fed decided to make this game on 10 PM on Tuesday (The Same Day) and also Amchit Stadium was close infront of Champville and Again Many meeting with ISF President Marwan Charbil and also both of Amchit and Champville side with FLB and Amchit had 2 conditions to play this game ,First to Ban Champville Fans after all their problems and to have a Referee from Europe ! And for sure these conditions ,the fed can't make them in Few Hours and At Night ,the time of the game Champville Bus arrived to Amchit Where All Amchit Fans were there more than 3000 Spectators and they closed the road infront of Champville Bus !!! And also Amchit Team didn't attend one more time and President Suleiman Stdium was Closed another time Also no Referees !
So The FED decided to Make it a 20-0 For Champville ,and Amchit out Of the League after all these problems in the playoff !! and Champville won the Serie 3-1 To Qualify to the Final 4 waiting for Riyadi-Bejjeh Serie !!

the league is suspended until further notice. FIBA might interfere since one of the teams went to the civil court which is illegal and the judge issued a suspension. The FLB are pissed now and they announced yesterday that they will take this issue to FIBA since no one can interfere in basketball decisions outside the responsible party.(FLB)

Ever since I started following Lebanese basketball since the early 90's what happened on Thursday was by far the worst day of Lebanese basketball history... And even though I was very sad and disgusted about what happened I believe there is hope because the Lebanese people and fans who love this game will not let it die and see it being destroyed like this...
There is no way we can continue having an amateur basketball federation with a league that has "professional/semi professional teams" .... Basketball in Lebanon has become bigger than the federation could handle and for the game of basketball to move forward once again there has to be drastic measures and decisions that have to be taken.

Some points that I had in mind earlier today include the following:

1) Federation elections: A new federation needs to be elected but there should be certain prequalifications for any member to be elected to the federation... For example, a federation member must be someone who either is involved in sports, was an ex-player and is knowledgeable about the game.

2) Foreign players: Issue regarding foreign players previously playing in the Israeli league... This is ridiculous and should definitely be adjusted. By the way Qatar's new naturalized player, Jarvis Hayes, was just playing in the Israeli league this season and his last game there was just earlier this month.
Also regarding being able to change your foreign players and the exceptions to be considered need to be studied in depth... For example what happened with Mouttahed when their foreigners fled the country.
You can't have 3 foreign players and use them alternatively throughout the season as this gives an advantage for certain teams over others.

3) League format: This needs to be finalized before the season is to start and in no way possible should there be any adjustments to the format of the league once the league starts. There needs to be proper planning and follow through regarding this.

4) Fans: We noticed how the issue regarding fans has disrupted the league throughout the season... I believe the best option is the one being followed here in Greece which is that only home team fans are allowed to attend the game... We saw how the "20 fans" for away teams was being abused and how even such a small number of fans problems were easily erupting at the stadiums.

5) Penalties: All clauses regarding penalties need to be reconsidered, written and a copy distributed to all teams. The penalties should always be consistent for all teams with no exceptions.

6) Referees: The names of the referees to be considered for the league should be agreed upon before the season commences. As for the foreign refs only the top ones should be considered but since FIBA has issued a rule that any league in Asia can only have foreign refs from the same continent I personally believe that the Lebanese refs are amongst the best in Asia so we should trust and rely on them.
Moreover in games where refs were not up to the level the federation needs to review tapes of the games and take decisions accordingly.

7) Team Budgets: In order for the league to be of a good level there has to be a minimum budget for any team in the Lebanese first division... A descent figure would be something like 500,000 US$ to start of with. On the other hand we should also have a maximum budget of something like 2 million US$ for the top teams as well or else this also create problems due to the huge gap difference between the teams.
