Why Jamal Ma'ayta can play for Jordan NT in FIBA asia ??
I remember he had play in German youth NT in EURP youth game .
I think he could not play for Jordan NT .

Well , Jamal Ma'ayta played with Germany Youth National team but the German Federation sent a release that he won't b called to Any German NT to represent Germany , so hes issue is done and he can play with Jordan NT ....

Hope he would add sth to Our Defense Startegy in ASia cup next week

is there a difference between playing to the youth NT and the men NT ?

cz as i remember Rony Seikaly represented the US NT in the WC once, which obliged him to play for the leb NT.

anyways, if there was any problems, the FIBA Asia would have informed the jordanian NT already.

anyways, if there was any problems, the FIBA Asia would have informed the jordanian NT already.

You have the right to play with a young NT and then play with the 1st NT of another country but since 1996 you can't play for 2 1st NTs

Jordan NT beat Shan Dong Team (by Robert Wang)


"Jordan NT played against Shan Dong team in a tournament and Jordan won at 71:51. First quaor is at 15:13. 2nd is at 28:18, 3rd quator is at 46:36. Shan Dong has been playing with their local imports from Liao Ning team included Gu Li Ye, Liu Xiang Tao and Yang Ming. But they are not in good shape and just start to play their first game in shan Dong. These 2 teams will go to De Zhou City tomorrow for another game".

2 weeks since the Decision taken By Jordan Olympic Committte Dissoluting The Jordanian Basketball Federation and the consequences appeared , there could be New Federation Elections to be Held this month and probably After the Participation of Jordan NT in FIBA Asia championship in Tianjin (8-16 August ) .

For now One Name may Decalre his Intentions to Be a Candidate for the Presideent Position , Hilal Barakat is one of the Greatest Players in jordan's Basketball History looks Forward for that .
Hilal Barakat looks Forward to Make some Changes in the new Professional system Done by the Previous Federation Administration after the 2003 which caused Deep-rooted Clubs like Al-Ahli , Aljazeera and lately Orthodoxi to Give up Proffesional Basketball and leave the competition for Buisness New Clubs .

ِAnother Solution after dissolution is To Get Back the old Federation and Correct those suggested finance Violation if occured and Admitted .

Elsewhere , Jordan NT Won Over Shan Dong (China) 70-61 after better Performance from Both Sides especially Shan Dong , this is the 2nd Game between Both teams after the first Win 71-51 For Jordan NT , By this Game Jordan NT Finished it's Preparations For the First Game In FIBA Asia against Lebanon on Thursday 13:00 GMT .

It would be great news if Barakat takes charge of the Jordanian bball federation since he's a previous player and knows what needs to be done to continue improving bball in Jordan.

He was a superb coach also, I think we need some new blood in our Fed also as Walid Doumyati, Elie Mchantaf, Yasser El Haj, Mark Kozah and many of those guys (many of them are still in the field whether with hoops or Sagesse or other teams)

Jama Abu shamala still in the Roster till the Technical Meeting Today when all the teams announces thier 12 men Roster .

Jamal had a Back Inujury since 1 year in the NCAA , so it's a possibility to out him for this reason as he should take a rest for 2 weeks .

Still everything is possible , hope we will have the Slightest Shock
