Iranian Superleague 2010-2011

mahram will for sure manage to acquire the services of a local player that can fill the position 3,amd with Samb and and kambala on 4-5,i think they will trample upon all other teams in the asian cup,i think that riyadi's chances of snatching this year's title have dwindled down alot now,i mean when Woods played Samb the latter dominated,now with Kambala:D
i hope woods will be able to walk out of the game with these 2 beasts contesting him over the supremacy under the basket,seriously:D
i would be riyadi,i'd seriously start thinking of signing Vroman,that's the only way i see them holding their own against mahram

i do agree on everything, but signing Vroman :)
i think Lorren woods this time stands no chance, even with JAcks next 2 him.
in my opinion, changing lorren with some1 like Randolph morris or davis harrington, its more likely to give riyadi some better chances!
We do remember Watkins + Garnett dominated woods in the final 8...it was so obvious that Lorren woods is so weak when it comes to the physical battle under the basket!
so again, i guess riyadi should start thinking of a higher level of centers, a stronger body, along with any other PF, wether its Jackson or ish !
 
Wow, that's sick news regarding Kambala :eek: Great player, if not complicated personality, then disqualification and 2 years without bball, he could've had decent career and still play in big European clubs without a problems
 
Riyadi s best option is to keep Ismail and Get a Physical C why Not Darryl watkins ,Ismail is just Great he s leading Riyadi very well yesterday they won the First game of The Finals Playoffs ,they played really well ,Riyadi are strong and ismail should be in the Roster he amazing doing everything ,as i heard Fadi may join Riyadi in Asia ,so basicly it will be difficult on Mahram and not riyadi if Fadi Join the Team , Ali ,Fadi ,Ismail ,Darryl (Or a Big C or Loren) ,Jean wow
the Combination of Ismail-Fadi is Deadly Fadi unstoppable in Scoring ,same ismail 2 very dangerous players
As for Kambala he s the Best C ever come to Asia ,he s so Strong ,Riyadi should had a target to have a good C ,and if they manage to Get a new C ...they will get Asia specially if Fadi played

I was on the road and missed the games, I just followed the second semifnal on radio and Petro was REALLY close to beat Zob in Esfahan. Zob won the game by 2 back to back 3s by Powell and Ali Baheran !

another note, CJ Giles fouled out very early !!! but Jimmy Baxter had a good game.

also, congrats to Gorgan for beating Azad ! A very surprising result after Azad's great performance against Petro.

They Replaced Kevin Sheppard and Albert Mourning.. Very bad Change. Coach Hatami never made the Playoff with out those two imports. Infact, Azad only won one game without Kevin Shappard.. I hope he come Gorgan next year...

What Happen to Kevin Sheppard with Azad? He is one of the best players Iran ever had. He had 27pts 8assits vs Gorgan in the regular season and Azad beat Gorgan by 23pts. He is far better than Steve Horne and Sandis Baskevics put together...

Mohsen, isn't there a deadline for changing foreign players (unless a player is injured) in the Iranian league? Can a team still change their players in the semis and finals?

we had something like that , but currently no, they can change their imports (and not locals) whenever they want.
 
Alex Bojic has injured his back in the 3th game against Azad.Thats way he is out.They are trying to bring him back but it will be very difficult that he will be ready for game 3 against Zob.

I was wrong :o Iranian teams can't change their imports after the start of the semifinal series. (unless a player is injured)

and right now, one of the clubs is going to do it and Mahram's manager is angry about it ! because this player (they didn't mention any name) isn't really injured !

Whats going on with Petrochimi? They were playing so well the last I heard, Why are they losing? and why did Benny go from scoring 20+ppg to 0!? and playing 40mins to playing 14mins? Something has to be wrong.. If they dont win these next 3 games, are they finished?
