Why do you divide Europe in such a ridiculous way?
If you make 'Mediaterranean countries' category then you should make an 'Atlantic Ocean' category for Portugal, 'Alps mountain' category for Austria, Switzerland, Italy, 'North Sea' section for England, Denmark, Norway, 'Baltic Sea' for Lithuania, Poland, Sweden etc etc etc

By the way, Poland, Czech Rep, Croatia, Slovenia, Hungary, Lithuania are all as Central Europe as it gets.

So you should just divide them nice and simply, Western Europe (England, Portugal, Iceland) Central Europe (from France till Croatia) and Eastern Europe (paradise countries like Albania, FYROM, Bulgaria, Greece, Turkey, Armenia etc)

By the way, Hi!

dude, there is actually something called like "Mediaterranean Countries" starting from Portugal on the west to Turkey on the east. You can't divide countries by the Alp mountains or Atlantic Ocean categories. It is just how they made it up in the past, there are medit. countries.(like a term to distinguish countries-nations)

By the way, I voted for Turkey Eastern Europe where as I could vote in medit. countries or middle east. In basketball, I prefer Turkey putting in Eastern Europe

Asians will soon exceed Europeans in this forum! :S Did you guys notice the new record number of visitors = 326 on July 6, when China "B" team played Philippines in a warmup game... I would expect ~500 in the next month when FIBA-Asia starts

hello everyone!
it's my first post so don't take me too seriously, but i think that croatia and slovenia are not in eastern Europe

Surprising result! I didn't know there were that many basketball fans in Asia...
Good for you guys!

What's the best national basketball squad in Asia, does anyone know?

But the numbers will be only temporary, remember Eurobasket starts in September.

Hello

Hello

I am a Canadian that has been living in Sydney Australia for the past 5 years. I guess that makes me an Aussie now. I am severely missing the NBA here. The TV coverage of the NBA here is shocking. Australians have their own league here, and watching it makes me realise how good I used to have it in Toronto when I could watch Vince and the Raps play. I am still a hardcore Raptor fan and am stressing about not being able to watch the playoffs here for another year.

Do any of you have a way around this?

Cheers.

Damn. Not too many people from AUS here..
You're right. That surprsises me because you guys have been playing great ball Down Under for many, many years. I guess there are probably more popular forums that Aussies visit.

Hey we also passed up 10,000 members!

Of which only 500 are real people, and 9500 are spambots!

Spambots from Asia and Europe apparently.

I was only kidding. There's more than 500, have you visited the Philippines forum lately? It's like an entirely different universe. We actually have 1000+ active members and another ~1500 casual members
