Group E, Day 2: Philippines vs. Iran

In terms of talent, the Iranian team simply progressed a lot while the Phil team regressed.

Anyway, the loss would not dampen our campaign since we are really expecting to finish 3rd in this group behind Iran and Korea. Atleast, we wont have to face China in the cross-over pairings. Jordan and Lebanon is a little bit better than facing China. :)

Our guys are shying away from contact, we are letting Ehdadi impose himself, no one has yet tried to get contact on the drive against Ehdadi and try to fish for a foul.

I think we progressed only on a different and wrong direction.

Its do or die on the 3pts now, I don't care anymore just space the floor and hope we sink them.

Its okay to lose but lets make it respectable.

OMG we are even missing FT's now!

we are making our shots now but we cant stop them on defense..... HARDER FOULS! HACK THEIR ARMS AND HAVE BODY CONTACT! IF YOU CAN'T STOP THEM INSIDE MAKE THEM WORK FOR THEIR POINTS AT LEAST!

Damn those like 5 or 6 girls in the crowd pretty much make up for the lack of crowd (near noon on a Tuesday, busy work day)

please keep posting the sc0res...tnx

51-34 Halftime, and the Iranians are walking off the court shaking their heads lol

and Haddadi is a dirty ass player

Also.. 18 trips to the line (16 made) for Iran versus just 2 trips to the line (1 made) for the Filipinos
