Tsaddy John Tabaldo- Rangel

You won’t miss Tzaddy Rangel. At 14 when he became a Jr. NBA All Star, he was 6’4. Today at 16 he stands 6’7. And he’s still growing. This lanky center from La Salle Green Hills can score, shoot threes and do mean putbacks. He became a Jr. NBA All Star in 2011. He will become a dominant center one day.

I think Rangel was already asked to withdraw from LSGH.

June 6, 2012 review:

Tsaddy Rangel of Lasalle Greenhills - 6'5" stick figure, lively and athletic though, good runner-jumper type, way out of his league in terms of strength even against fellow high school players, has good hands though, instinctive defender

Please explain what the above mean... I don't understand, he has the tools but not the strength yet. Aren't they supposed to develop him and not ask him to withdraw...

Just wondering if Japeth, Junemar and Greg had a girlfriend. Maybe somebody will introduce them to NU's Dindin Santiago and her younger sister Jaja.. :p

Speaking of which. a little OT, i dont think UCLA really offered Jaja an athletic sponsorship to play volleyball for them. Maybe what she got were recommendations from the UCLA's asst coach to try out for the team (or a walk-on -- be on the team, either as a practice player, or a reserve, usually, not on a full-schlarship). Remember, UCLA is a nationally ranked volleyball power, and with all due respect to Jaja, scholarships are reserved for Top 20 HS recruits.

If Jaja is indeed in the league of, say Rivals Top 100 recruits, well, i think she should reconsider her decision not to play for UCLA. But IMHO, i think this is just a PR stunt by the NU mgmt to hype Jaja. but dont get me wrong, this is great for her and for Phl volleyball in general, at least now, young girls have something to look-up to and idolized aside from those brainless tv/movie starlets.

At least now, our pinay athletes are getting the attention due them.

Why is he not in the current RP U-16 or U-18 team? How come he doesn't make a noise as much as guys like Thirdy Ravena or Kobe Paras do?

I think he's with the U16 team... Maybe he's not that good yet... And he definitely he is not a son of a famous pro player...

I think Kobe Parase needs to be more of a vintage Danny Seigle than his dad..if his max height would be 6'6 or 6'7 I like him to be more of a small forward than a post player.

Actually Coach Benjie said that Kobe plays and being trained as guard. I think its Andre who is more of a post player..
