It seems caughter will make muttahed team as his old bluestars one. I hope he works alot on elie rustom, jad bitar and bassel bawgi.
 
Mouttahed surrendered like all other teams. Because everybody can get 2 top foreigners. But who can they get to match vogel?
Vogel as lebanese is just superior to any other lebanese.



Now if Riyadi signs Freiji or Vroman as lebanese. The rest of the teams will wash their hands, sit at home and not bother spending anything . Because they know they wont win.

hopefully all the second scenario can't happen. Now as for vogel he is old but still somehow effective. Riyadi need to stick to only 5 players. I hope that's what they are going to do.
 
is it true that ron alexander will champville new foreigner ? if not is he a high level player ?

Ron played in Lebanon with Annibal Zahle a few years ago if you happen to remember.

He used to be very good at rebounding and shot blocks considering that he's almost a 7 footer but he had a weak body (very skinny) and wasn't a great offensive player.

I don't know what happened to him and where was he playing after the 2008-2009 season.

As for him joining Champville i'm not really sure about this info.

Tom Ammar and Ali Barada started practicing with Byblos , their management is trying to get 2-3 more players since the latest news says that Mario Abboud might be heading to Sagesse although its not finalized yet!

sagesse is driving me crazy. Now they are loaning 2 players. Daniel faris might not get his ID, ghaleb reda signs with them, mario abboud might sign with them.

This is sick!!!!!! I really hope daniel remain with them and his ID finishes soon.

Tony Williams and Lonnie Cooper are staying to this minute and they didnt decide whether they will change or not!

FAC is not really happy about the level of imports specially Williams that's why he wants to change them but still nothing is official, all the names were suggested but no one is yet close to sign just to make things clear and the club is really going on many CVs at the moment.

Well it's not really a future program but anyway they have good/average players no one is superb but if Coach Paul stayed and continued the hard work he is doing with the team they can still be good.
Besides the team have in mind that they might change imports or at least one not so far from now.
 
As for Sagesse I just don't understand why Mchantaf don't let Abbaz be in charge of acquiring players!!!
I mean Abbaz wanted a foreign Point guard he got him a Forward with a huge CV so that he can't reject it.
He wanted Ghaleb and when they got him they told him Ghaleb won't be able to start since both Rony and Sabah will be starters.
Besides when you have 3 players at least on the court that depend on having the ball in their hands and not playing much systems things won't be really good for the team.

i remember anibal was playing against feitroun in central he grabbed a rebound in last seconds and he called a time out :confused: but he couldn't according to the rules then his team lost the game :p

Nobody even took the time (they had months to do it) to tell Ron that he cannot ask for a timeout himself and it should be a dead ball to obtain one. Ron was not asking the referees for timeout unlike what Ghayyath said but he was looking at his bench and asking the coach to ask for a timeout. For me Anibal need a true leader. Alvin is a scorer but he's not a leader. He used to be a leader with Sagesse but by then, Sagesse had a real coach (Vujanic) who knew how to utilize him.

These incidents do happen though and I remember back in the days that Chris Webber did such a move in the NCAA final that cost his team (Michigan Wolverines) the NCAA title and Championship when he called for a timeout in the last seconds of the game when his team didn't have any left so the opposing team (North Carolina) was awarded "technical free throws".
