Euroleague/ULEB cup teams rosters so far

My friend Wilson, could you tell me also your opinion about Alex Scales?I believe,as you live in Spain, you are the most apropriate person about that.

Tau Ceramica
Good
- teriffic staring five - Prigioni, Rakocevic, Planinic, Scola, Splitter
- Rakocevic and Planinic will bring instant offense when pick&roll Prigioni - Scola is stopped
- Splitter gives them top defender at European stage
Bad
- Sergi Vidal is only capable defender at wing positions
- lack of depth currently
- Perasovic is not yet good enough coach for this level of a team
- Scola`s frustration with not being able to go in the NBA

- now i can see that there is no point of doing this, since rosters are far from set, altrough richer teams already formed, in largest part, lineups.

Perasovic is a good coach, good enough imo. Plus, Tau will likely sign onme more wing guy in orded to give Planinic the opportunity to emerge as a PG in the set game, playing some quality minutes when Prigioni needs some rest.

G- Prigioni, Dragic
G- Rakocevic, Erdogan
G/F- Planinic, Vidal
PF- Scola, Peker, Teletovic
C- Splitter, David, Drobnjak (he is going soon)

TAU is looking forward desperately the SF that they lost with Nocioni's departure. And with this man, the roster would be finally complete. Also it is being considered the posibility of adding the argentinian youngster Matías Sandes if this man couldn't be signed.

It is sure that Dragic, if the buyout's problems are finally solved, will be loaned in the Polaris World Murcia, newcomer in the ACB. Hw won't play with TAU next year.

Yes, David has signed with Gran Canaria, and Drobnjak...weeks ago was rumoured that Fenerbahce-Ulker would sign him but now I think that he will continue next season

Sandes won`t contribute much in a first year with Tau that`s for sure. I think Carlos Jimenez would be perfect player for them, but now he is off the market.

Of course Sandes cannot contribute (at least not as much as Dragic can), as he is only 16...
Lets bring over Mancinelli or some other SF who is demanding limited # of shots per game..

Tau president spoke yesterday and said that Drobnjak's situation will resolve soon (that is suposed to mean that he will leave but that is dificult to find a team that can assume his salary).
He rumored that id possible that Dragic will be loaned to another team, but if Tau dosnt find another under 21 player for the roster, this situation could change. (Polaris has showed interest as was said before).
He didnt said nothing clearly, but he more or less said that Tau probably will make another 2 signings , and maybe one of them could be spanish, if they finally dont include one younger of his junior team in the final roster.

The official Žalgiris website announces, that the roster is complete for the next season:

Youngsters Vilmantas Dilys and Andrius Aleksandrovas will be loaned out to either some Lithuanian or foreign club.

They have 5 foreigners so most likely one of them won't be registered for LKL/BBL games. And regardless that Žalgiris signed few experienced players this year, roster still looks so young, hopefully it will come as an advantage for Žalgiris.

Darius Šilinskis? Why do they keep him?

He had one good game in Euroleague last year against AEK. But that's it. Probably he is cheap and is a good material for Tanoka to push with during practices.

That Zalgiris lineup look modest, no backcourt depth, as good as Kalnietis and Maciulis are relying on them heavily isn`t going to bring great results in Euroleague. Frontcourt looks very solid.

There wasn't written that the roster is final. There are rumours that there still will be one foreign sg when Zalgiris traning camp will start and they will see what type of player they need. And Zalgiris wouldnt let Serapinas go if they wouldnt thinking about new sg, coz peciukas is more a sf then sg

Because "most likely one of them (foreigners) won't be registered for LKL/BBL games"

Lavrinovic > Motola (unless Motola will play much better than last year)
Freman < Machado
Cota/Anderson < Popovic
Jankunas, Maciulis, Kalnietis < Jankunas, Maciulis, Kalnietis
Ayuso, Serapinas > Peciukas, Jasikevicius

I see improvement in roster. Will Bagatskis and Grigas be better than Sireika and Krapikas?

Beard Silinskis Stimac
Jankunas Motola
Machado Maciulis
Peciukas Jasikevicius
Popovic Ginevicius Kalnietis

I think this rumor is based on Navikauskas words that algiris won't sign more players this summer

I think both Kalientis and Popovic will be in starting lineup, if they don`t bring in quality shooting guard.

I think Popovic and Ginevicius:) Kalnietis said that pg position he likes much more then sg and Ginevicius in his career was playing not only in pg but also in sg. So he have bigger experience in this position.

Peciukas is not the shooter Ayuso and Serapinas was, but he shoots good % and can make 3's in cluch. His main weapon - his spead. In neptunas he started 4 games at SG and averaged ~23ppg compared to 16ppg whole season and he played SG in U20 NT. Besides Ginevicius Kalnietis Jasikevicius and Machado can play SG

But we dont know how Peciukas will look in Zalgiris and Euroleague, coz its m uch bigger level then Neptunas and LKL/BBL..
