if Partizan wannts to win they must slow tempo of game as much as posible. Game changer for Partizan at the moment is defensive presece of Vranes, but Barca has type of bigs that can run up and down faster then any other team bigs, whille it also depends how they will shoot from high post. if they hit few shoots Vranes will be forced to go on them on pick and than he is to slow to guard them on rolls. that will leave Barca players lot of oportunities. Barca could also finaly use Lorbek at center who usualy deals with Vranes very easily...
I don't doubt that Dule have an ace in his sleeve. Yeah, it will be a big problem to play zone defense against Barca, their shooting ability is pretty good, but doesn't necessary means it will work perfectly. If Perović managed to stop some of them, Vraneš and Roberts can do it also...
For me most interesting part is will Rubio shit his pants in Pionir:D
Perfect time to show his will(I will not say balls, nor cojones)...:D
Llull was brilliant last time Real played here in Belgrade, so he set the bar pretty high for his NT colleague.

No way Barca will loose in Belgrade. Especially after the show Partizan pulled of in OAKA. Barca is warned and I don't think they will underestimate Partizan in any way.

Its not on Barca to do anything ;)
Really, if Partizan do what they do the best (fight against all odds with huge balls!) they stand a very good chance. Also, yeas, for Rubio, he is, after all, just a kid, and he will be scared :P

I agree. There is no way Barca can loose (or tight for that matter) in Belgrade. But maybe they can lose. You never know.

I wonder what the standings would look like if Barca looses in Belgrade.

Partizan 2-0
Pao 1-1
Barca 1-1
Marousi 0-2

Who would have guessed that? :D

Seriously though. I think Barca will pull through in Belgrade. Didn't say it was going to be easy.

The point is that we are playing basketball too... Barca is better team, but they have small crises, while Partizan is playing on really high level...30 days ago Barca would win this game by double digit... Chances for Partizan are increasing because today's game in Adriatic league is postponed and guys will have more time to rest and to prepare for this game...

There is also a possibility that this "rest" won't go in their way. Hopefully Partizan will make one more surprise (for sake of other low budget teams) although I must say I like Barca a lot.

Group E
Partizan - Regal FC Barcelona 1
Maroussi BC - Panathinaikos 2

Group F
Efes Pilsen - Montepaschi Siena 1
Maccabi Electra - Real Madrid 2

Group G
Zalgiris - CSKA Moscow 2
Unicaja - Asseco Prokom 1

Group H
Olympiacos - BC Khimki x
Cibona - Caja Laboral 2

What should against any type of logic appear obvious is the following:

Kaunas-CSKA 0 against 100
Cibona-Caja Laboral 10 against 90

I must disagree with you, Sir, Cibona vs Caja is also 0-100 :) Not good times for Cibona, I heard they don't pay salaries, so players are not motivated. Kaunas was a closed case even before season started - like every year they are just bunch of easy frags for all teams.

Yes, I'm afraid a typing error occured. Thus; Cibona-Caja Laboral 0 plays 100.

Kaunas was a closed case even before season started - like every year they are just bunch of easy frags for all teams.

Not deviating from Cibona's state of nature during latter part of last decade then.

All except Rytas. What a shame, that one of the best teams of all European basketball cannot beat such bunch of easy frags, damnit :(

Yes small crises. We've just won +50

An Oly-Barca match up would be a very, very interesting game to watch. Oly is the only team right now in Europe able to handle (and maybe overcome) Barca in both speed and physicality. :)

Nice recipe for a Euroleague final then.

Hello to everyone:) Match against Barca is not that important for us(when it comes to result), if we beat them we could easily fail to advance to top 8, and even if we lose to Barca it could happen that we pass the group with wins at home against PAO and Marusi.
Anyway win against Barca after beating Panathinaikos in Athens would mean alot to the fans, it would be another sensation. We wont play in Arena (23 000 capacity) but (7-8000 seats) Pionir is even louder. Against Efes u could barely hear refs whistle in some moments of the match
I expect even bigger noice against Barca
