Euroleague teams pre-season games

Euroleague, Let's say that Sofo or Jackson would have been there to stop Fizer. now can I add Vujcic to the equation? Niko is probably better offensive player than Fizer. what would Oly do than? You cannot talk with ifs..

Olympiakos manager Stavros Elliniadis, in a moment of the game, shouted to the Israeli referee to wear Maccabi's jersey... :D

Ok let's forget the conversation about the referee's. The final score was 95-81. I think my team has many defencive problems. Also there were many injured players that can give us more power in the paint. I hope we will buy sometime the Amerikan PF/C. Let it be, Jackson... Greer was a dissapointment. The player I like very much is Teodosic. He is a real and pure point guard. He surely needs more time in the court with the rest of team. At this moment ( as Gerson said ), my team is in 40%.

About Maccabi, one thing I say: FIZER. This player is great. All Oly's centers ( like Bourousis, Mavrokefalidis, Jake, even Printezis ) tryed to make a good defence on him, but nothing. I think that with Vujcic as center and Fizer as power forward, Maccabi's frontline is powerful. Who is the reserve of Fizer, in power forward's position ?

I have good news for Oly's fans. Kokkalis decided to give the whole Olympiakos Basketball Club to Aggelopoulos. At last, chairman of Oly BC is Aggelopoulos and not Kokkalis. :)

Morris and Eliyhau, but also Bluthental and Caspi can play the PF position.

By the way - today the salary of Fizer in Maccabi ($1M per season) seems realy funny compared to other players in Europe.

There can be few possibilities - Eliyahu, Morris, Bluthental.
At all Maccabi front line (even if Da Rosa will be transferred to another team) gives quite a lot of combinations - Vuicic/Fizer, Vujcic/Eliyahu, Morris/Fizer, Vujcic/Morris, Vujcic/Eliyahu/Bluthental (switching between Eliyahu and Bluth 3/4 in offense/defense) and many more. In Israeli PL even Caspi can play PF;)

Lol in economical terms Tsakalides = 2 Fizers and in basketball terms Fizer = 2 Tsakalides. :D

Casspi PF? No way, dude.

Most of his short career he played as a PF, but due to his quickness, ball handeling and outside shot he plays mostly as a SF.

He played PF only even in EL in Maccabi 2 years ago (few times and few minutes, but he was barely 17 then). I'm not sure Katash will use him in such a way now in EL. But in Israeli PL he can play PF for sure.

hhh, where is Calvin when we are talking of Caspi:D

For me he is pure SF and he should play on SF instead of PF.
Well, he will be playing SF most of the time, it's good for him (NBA-wise if he will be drafted one day) and also for Maccabi:)
But I wouldn't call him pure SF...

Wide is a member here... I messaged him, but he wasn't here for 10 days...
rikhardur, can't you invite us???

Quite impressed with Qyntel Woods.he is a player that you enjoy watching and he is doing very good job without taking too many shots.
If he will manage to concentrate just in basketball he will be a hit in Europe.

Yeah this is very dissapointing...

Guys, if someone has the match in video, plz upload it somewhere else so we can download it.

By the way, Macas seems much more slow and less quick then before his injury. He still is a great shooter but it seems he is not the deadly player he was before he got injured. Oly has a great bunch of talented players and the biggest problem is the lack of a top level point guard (Greer is a SG). Without a good PG they won't acheive anything this year.

come on, man... it's only fu... boring pre- season games. Look at Papaloukas now, he must be a complete looser if we will look at those games to much seriously. I saw Macas at Greece finals, he's ability to move was just fine even though he wasn't 100%. imho, wrong view considering from one game. Though there wouldn't be any sensation if he's a bit slower now.

Macas is even better he was, some years ago. He is just more mature he was the days he was playing for Tau. He's already playing some great games, and I hope he will be good. Oly needs a leader like he is... ;)
