Okay ... I thought he was going to play in the US, that's what I was hearing.

Then I was surprised to see him on the statsheet of a game for Fener/Ulker. So he's definitely staying in Turkey for all of next season?

He is in Bormio with the team and played against Avellino (8pts, 9rebs) and Siena (5pts). He is definitely here for 08-09 season but i am not sure about his future. I heard that he is also going to stay for the next seasons but as you said, there are lots of rumours about him...

I hope a center will come. Without a good center we will have huge problems in the frontcourt. Only Velickovic is a force there and a player that we can count on for sure. All others have still to learn a lot.

I hope Velickovic, Tepic and Tripkovic will show excellent games this year. With a good defense and a improvment of all other players we will be dangerous again.

But it will be difficult to reach the Top16 this year. Perhpas we should more concentrate on NLB and Serbian League.

We have to defend 3 titles this year.:D

From the season 04/05 we got better every year. We must hope that it will be this year, too.

I really love Robbe's lists, but altough is probbaly a matter of opinions, i would like to make some statements (from my point of view)

About Joventut, Mallet has almost the same chances than Ribas of playing as a pg and i think that mensah-bonsu is going to play as a pure c, buts thats just a feeling. Dimitri flis will probably play 80% of his minutes as a pf (and the correct spelling is Henk Norel ;) ) Dont be surprised of watching Laviña playing a good ammount of minutes in the sf pòsition

I think that Basile will play in Barcelona most of his minutes in the sf position, and grimau in the sg position. Even Lakovic could end playing as a sg in some occasions. Watching the preseason' games, if Barca doesnt sign another center, dont be surprised if u watch Vazquez play a lot of minutes in that position. And watching that, is quite probable that Andersen is going to play almost all his minutes in the c position.

In Unicaja, on the preseason games, it seems that Welch is playing as the sf, and Kelati more in the sg position. I dont think NDoing will play as a pf, i see quite more probable that Archibald will get more minutes in that postion. And as someone said earlier, Gabriel is a sf in a center body, but the truth is that he has never been a sf, he always play as a pf or even as a c.

But this is just my opinion.
Again great job man!

Sometimes opinions, and in some cames - such as yours - observations! Thanks for those, quite interesting to read (wouldn't have expected the Basile <=> Grimau swap for example), and I'll look for the best way to transplant your very detailed infos into the list.:)

Ps: Neozyrus, do you have information on how they are going to use the Pamesa Valencia roster? A very good rotation, I'm not sure who's going to start. I saw they are starting Claver at the 3, but then they are still missing some players.

Right now Pamesa is missing a true big man badly, and a little less a sf.
But with the future sign of a Center (Perovic?) they wont have room for anybody, so they will strat with what they have now.

In the pg position, everything is possible, Oliver and Williams are right now sharing almost the same ammount of minutes in preseason, but i think that at the end, Williams will have more time than Oliver (anyway it will depend on the game). Avdalovic is sitill recovering so they will try to give him some minutes but it will take him still some time to recover completely.

In the sg position, it seems that Douglas could be the first option, cause Katsikaris really trusts in him, but Rafa Martinez is an excellent player that im sure that will get many minutes (even as a pg if a couple of the above couldnt play).

The sf position is probably going to be the weakest one. In fact there isnt a true sf in the roster. And you r right, right now the starting sf is Claver, he is playing almost all his minutes in preseason in this position. It is true that he has played many minutes in the past as a pf, but watching the ammount of players that Pamesa has this year that could play in the pf position, i dont see him getting many minutes there. But, another strong option is that Douglas could finally end playing many minutes as a sf (i dont know if even from the beginning of the games, it would depend on Claver's performances in the first games), and giving Rafa M. more minutes in the sg position.

In the pf position you have Dikoudis (seems to be the best bet here). But also you have Pietrus and Miralles to help there. And the latter 2 are doing some pretty good games this preseason so i expect them to play a good ammount of minutes if things continue this way.

In the center position, they have Kugo, but Katsikaris wants him just as a backup center and wants for the team a really tall guy with decent shooting habilities, to fight in the zone but also to play at 3/4 m of the rim. Miralles is right now playing some minute in this position, but it is quite clear that when this center arrives, he will play almost only as a pf.

Hope that this makes things a little more clear :)

As for Asseco Prokom Sopot (new owner, new name, new staff... I would say - new club :)):

PG/SG Daniel Ewing – PG Aleksej Nesovic – PG Tomasz Swietonski
SG/PG David Logan – SG/SF Przemyslav Zamojski
SF Koko Archibong – SF/PF Piotr Szczotka – SG/SF/PF Mateusz Kostrzewski
PF Filip Dylewicz - PF Ronald Burrell
C ____x____ - C Adam Hrycaniuk - C Adam Lapeta

@Unicaja
Alfonso Sanchez is out for 5 months

@FC Barcelona
Xavi Rey was the rotation on C during the preseason. But it did not look like he is going to see a lot of minutes during the season. They also had Mamadou Samb on their roster

@SLUC Nancy
Roger Zaki can be added to the roster at C

Once again great stuff, Robbe.
Few CSKA updates:
- Zakhar Pashutin is gone now, he joined Spartak St. Petersburg this summer
- Andrei Vorontsevch is PF, not SF
- add Alexander Kaun as third C

Upd. Seriously, Robbe, Vorontsevich is Pf and nobody else. He doesn't play on the wing.

Hm. I believe you that he's primarily a PF, but I saw him at the SF position when CSKA won at TAU last Euroleague season, when they had a lot of injured players and the younger ones were getting much playing time. Goree and Andersen were on 4/5, while Voronsevich played the 3. But maybe it was a once in a lifetime thing. Maybe we have to make Khryapa a pure 4 also, as in last season's Euroleague, he didn't play a single minute on the 3.

As long as nobody tells me Terence Morris is a SF, it's all fine anyway.

@Neozyrus: Thanks a lot, included your thoughts on Pamesa into the EuroCup rosters.

By the way: We now have A1-rosters, LegaA-rosters, German BBL-rosters, Adrialeague-rosters, Eurocup-rosters and Euroleague-rosters on Interbasket, while a lot of league and club sites aren't even updated yet. Nice.
