Euroleague games broadcast in the Philippines

I am able to watch some of the Euroleague games, but I don't really enjoy them. I doubt they will be a big hit in the Philippines, either, for one simple reason: Nobody knows much about the players and teams.

Who the hell are these guys?

I feel, that one way to make the games more palatable to Pinoys, would be to have somebody among the commentators who can "introduce" the players and teams to the Philippine audience. Sort of like give short accounts on the player's heights, backgrounds, achievements, etc.

and now, we want our RP Team to play euro-style and not NBA-style? hehe...

But with the popularity of the NBA in Europe we might see more European Teams play American type of Basketball...

One more reason to watch the games and get to know players and teams.

We'll, yeah, I'll probably try to sit around a quarter or two of those Euroball leagues to get a feel of the players and teams there.

I think it'll take time for Filipinos to get familiarized with the Euroleague teams and players.

I agree... it takes time... even me... its quite hard to familiarize but you'll get use to it...

I just got to watch the replay of the Galatasaray @ Valencia (Eurocup) game on Eurosport (channel 32 on Destiny Cable).

Euroleague is a great league and all!

But just like the soccer games i only watch them in highlights. :)

i am bored whenever i watch euroleague.but i am always learning from it. the tactics and plays ..i say,is better than NBA...minus the athleticism.

I watched a game. slick passing. less dribbling. quick and precise ball movement and lots of screens. Gilas style.

the eurocup is, i think, the second tier league below the euroleague...anyhow i just hate the eurosport brodcast coz they have this fastforward thing that skips a whole quarter...but i love to watch the greek league..panathanaikos vs olympliacos was great matchup!! to bad the greens got booted out the euroleague group stage so much for being the reigning champion....i enjoy watching euro basket than nba or the pba my two cents

Yeah, tough luck for panathinaikos. One my favorite teams in the euroleague. Well, better luck next time.
