Hey hey...!

Enjoy your cups now, because when Zeliko is not around, you can do what you please...

When he happens to be though, the cup is ours....;)

See ya' next year in O2 in Berlin!

btw, well done cska.

Zeljko was not able to carry his team thorugh the top16.

But funny to hear PAO fans now.:D A Top16 team this year. But for sure the only one that would be able to beat CSKA.:D

I always considered CSKA Maccabi and TAU as teams far more constant that PAO.

They're almost every year in the FF although they sometime slack what's needed to bring the cup home.

But Zeliko is something else. The only one imo, that can bring the game around to his needs
and win it even against all odds....

What a game Siena vs Maccabi, wasnt it?

One more thing that i want to say before i go to sleep. This year EL was more dominated by players from the US then in the last years in my opinion. In the 1st team we have 3 US players, one brazilian who learned playing basketball in Spain and one european. And the main players in this F4 were also players from the US or players like Andersen, Garcia and Sato who are not from europe. And at the end Langdon was MVP.

This players are not the problem. But i think we have do to something, because we have to many bad US players all over europe now. More quantity then quality. And that is not a good thing in my opinion for european basketball.

I forgot... have I made any bet regarding this? again (after today's betting I have to get on some sort of clinic or something)?:D
If I remember correctly, it was until the end of the Euroleague season :p

Congratulations to CSKA.They were the best in Europe this season. They played well when the games were hot and they fully deserve it.
Congratulations to Maccabi that reached this level against this opponent.
And about TAU?...as always they failed..nothing to add their fans are depressed so no reason to make them angry.

no need to talk about PAO.This day is CSKAs.We have to prove next season that we are strong and we do not need to comment about future titles.Titles are taken on the court and not from words. This season is a lesson for many of us.
Buducnost PG chill out.Imagine if Zeljko wasnt patriot of yours....nice way to talk about him.And PAO is the only team like it or not that has won CSKA the last 4 times they were met.Nothing more nothing less
Just to add also that the final and the F4 in general werent in the same level as last year in Athens.

That's exactly what meant when I was speaking about him.
He just knows how to cope with those Red square bears...;)

CSKA, CSKA!!!:D

Congrats to Maccabi they had a very good season much better then most people expected, and if someone told me at the start of the season that they would be fighting in the final, i would say they were high.

So a very good effort by them and it shows that Maccabi is one of the most if not the most consistent team in europe.

But enough about them lets all celebrate, because CSKA are world champs:P lets just take the world champion title away from the NBA:p

The best team in Europe won the title. Maccabi reach the finals, it's a great achievement for the team And all the fans are very proud.

Only Beynum do his job today , Fizer could help so much today :{{{.

Congratulation to the best team in Europe , CSKA.

Maybe next year without Nickola and Cammings but with another guard that can create chances to him self Maccabi will finish one place higher.

Nah, take it away, if you keep it, it means that they're gonna have the repeat again in 2009
and we badly want the title next year....;)

Congrats 2 CSKA!

The best team won and my beloved Maccabi didn't deserve the victory today.

IMHO today's MTA or any other bball team in Euroleague isn't on the same level of "blue-red horses" from Moscow. They invested a lot of money and made successful efforts to build glorious bball club in Russian capital city.

Unfortunately, great success of Russian basketball (NT and CSKA in Europe) doesn't help till now for the growing of basketball popularity in Russia.
It's a shame that Russian's Sports channel didn't broadcasted the game on time and their fans who remained in Moscow needed to see the game live on Greek, Israeli or Ukranian channels. I think it's huge fault of Russian basketball managers in promoting the game in that big country and in translating their big victories in Europe to the popularity.

YES !
You are absolutely right.

Thank you all!

Maccabi great season!

I hope to see in the Euroleague Dynamo Moscow.

Congrats to CSKA for the title and Maccabi for the great effort and their fans.

Langdon was great and nobody deserved the MVP title more than he did. Smodis followed, Andersen was good in offense but struggled on defense (the biggest weakness of a very good player), Papaloukas did his job without being great but at the end, the conclusion is that since he got (unofficially) the keys of the team, he only lost 1 final out of three in three years, even shining in the final that could not be won. Respect. Holden had a very mature performance showing that his crazy period has to be forgotten. He has become a truly very good player.

I left Sisko for the end because as the true MVP of the Euroleague this year he deserves a special mention: He was bad today but I believe every great player can have a bad night. As simple as that. I'm also glad he "corrected" his stats in the final minute.

As for Maccabi, the fact that they made it to the final is indeed an accomplishment. Beyond that, they really had bad luck with Vujcic not being ready. A healthy Nicola was their only chance. A consistent Morris and a great Batista in the 15 minutes he played were not enough, especially when Bynum is your main play maker (Will is a talented player with future. He is not however a play maker, thats all).

Great final four, great games. I love the Euroleague.

The joke of the month.

Siskauskas and Papaloukas had no big influence in this game. Langdon, Andersen, Holden and Smodis where the players who carried CSKA today. Siska and Papaloukas made some points in the end when the game was over and that´s it.

Oh my god. It's just a second day of Siska's appreciation and we already have antagonism of him started? :p It's more than clear that Siska had a bad night and horrible first half of the game. After the half he was working hard in defence and played for the athers in offense, while his shooting rithm was gone completely, still nailed the triple in 4th quater. Tonight, Langdon, Holden, Smodis, Anderson did a great job and Langdon is deserved MVP of final 4.

For conclusion, CSKA had almost easy final 4. ANd last year's finals was more exciting. Congrats for Messina, Siskauskas, Langdon and all CSKA for great season.

Congrats to CSKA that won fair and square and deserved. Kinda dissapointed though that it was so easy. I will have to disagree with some people here and blame bynum as the main reason for maccabi's loss. He is completelly unable to run a team and create for his teamates. I'd have rather seen halperin running the point
