just reporting rumors, I don't have a solid source
he has also been linked with Zalgiris

oh no!
again.
adding old names is tipical from a managment who is in deep crisis. they add a name to queit the fans, and who is cheap because at the end ,but those ex star arent basketball players for this level

Except Jordan and Sabonis ;)

Same old BS. Despite his age and his shortcomings, Saras proves to be a highly important player and very clutch in important moments of matches. It is absolutely enough to take a look at his stats in recent tournaments:

Moreover, watching those games would only bolsten the impression. An absolute floor general with cojones made out of steel. Ideal for 18-20 mpg.

Of course, he is the name Maccabi can sell to its fans but it doesn't come undeserved. The management wants to see him in yellow, Blatt doesn't. Blatt plays from defense but Obradovic wasn't an offense only coach either. Maybe, there is a chance to see him playing for Maccabi again, although it is slim. However, he won't come cheap. I guess, minimum 400.000 EUR.

what saras has done lately doenst matter. one more year age at 36 y.o. for an athlets is not simply one year . muscles and reflex at 36 y.o. will fall down suddenly without advertising before. it would be a very dramatic add imo

According to Sport5, Maccabi has inked Rakim Sanders, 24 years old, 195, SF/PF from Fairfield. The forward is considered to be a prospect, and will be loaned to Galil-Gilboa for 1 year, with team option for another year.

You're still with us on planet Earth, right? He has done it less than a week ago. The season will start in two month. Yes, within a weeks period his play can deteriorate significantly. Especially, since Saras delies on quick defense and dunking on offense.

He's an awesome player. PJ Tucker clone. If he works hard he can make it in the EL. He's a beast strength-wise and he can cover 4 positions in defense in europe.. maybe 3 in the NBA.

Wise choise to loan him the first year, he'll need a full season with lotsa playing time so he adjusts to european basketball faster.
