Euroleague/Club Competition Summer Signings & Rumours (vol. II)

Can Mutaf, who was on loan at Mersin BSB last year, will return. Hot prospect Metecan Birsen'll also be with the team. Bo McCalebb is the main target for PG position and it looks almost done. Destination for the last part of frontcourt rotation is again, M.Siena: Fener is trying to get David Andersen or Ksystof Lavrinovic. So the team looks like:

Lavrinovič is about to stay in Siena. There's only very little chance that he leaves...

Blatt has a different offensive set than Obradovic as MTA's coach is relying more on individual skills on offense. That should play into Logan's hands. I can't call him a good signing however. But why should he be worse than Hickman? I don't see any reasons for that. But two players of that kind in the same team? He is also not the right replacement for Langford as the "give me the ball and I will score" player.

A PG and a C (at least) are still needed.

whn a team has no money for good players and when market is at the end, that team can add just players "on sale". pops and logan are players on sale. last players on market.so u can choose among a group of players like those. well know we can say mta is a top16 team. not esle.

Kristaps Valters has offer from Montepaschi to be their back-up PG.

What about his play-making skills? I think those are great as well. Remember how many points Unicaja's bigs Freeland and Zoric got from his assists...

Nothing good, he knows to pass the ball but his skills are very bad leading the team as well, his defense is horrible ...

If his team leading skills are so bad, how come before joining Unicaja he led Fuenlabrada to two great seasons despite the fact that their roster wasn't so good on paper? Answer is: because he made others better.

You should look at the big picture. It was not all his fault that coach couldn't put team together. He's not perfect, but he's not bad player as well. I think he's definitely Euroleague level player and would be luxury for Montepaschi to come off the bench.

Ok, thank you. We still don't know who wil be our first playmaker, i think Valters maybe good as second but not to replace Bo.
