I had no idea Huertas is jewish, he'd be a nice pickup for Maccabi indeed.

I guess its bye bye to Kuzminskas.. Unicaja is really interested in him. I think its mistake for him tho. One more season in Zalgiris would be a blessing for his future, but only if Plaza or any other quality coach is in Kaunas. Good luck , young fella.
Rumour is that he'll play for Plaza, but in Malaga.

i knew he is jewish, but jewish opr not he could be a great add for us. anyway no problem, blatt prefere ohayon ,so..

it sounds that langford will not be in milan next year. where he could be?

you know nothing! (jon snow) :P is a joke about "game of thrones"

ok, no jokes. prigioni nowadays is too much better than heurtel. heurtel is better scorer, prigioni is better in everything else, specially controlling the game, the tempo, experience.... prigioni was a rookie of 36 years in the NBA, and was starter in playoffs playing very good games with the new york knicks. pablo have NBA offers but he prefers to play in europe.

anyway, is quite possible that heurtel plays in baskonia next season. I'm afraid! walter hodge-thomas heurtel as PGs, two crazy players!!
hodge heutel is a very smart idea for caja.
a team that hasnt a great budget must try to reduce the gap with better team counting on "crazy" players. a good team that would like to get f4 having no much money, must built a team with players who can break matches by themselfes. it could be a great duo for caja

Emir Sulejmanovic signed with Olimpija profesional contract. Sasu Salin reportedly will resign with Olimpija after they get WC for Eurocup

Huertas is not Jewish but he apparently has Jewish roots. I don't think it would be easy for him to get the Israeli citizenship, so there is no reason to overpay him. He will surely want sth. close to a million Euro, which is absolutely too much for him. On the other hand, we've all seen him play for Vitoria and for the Brazilian NT. He can be a wonderful and unconventional offensive player. I hope, he has not forget how to facilitate offense under Pascual. He is not good on defense and is a relatively shaky shooter. Maccabi can get a more effective overall and cheaper American PG. European stars and biggest international names go only to teams with very deep pockets, if they play abroad. You'll get further in the competition, relying on American players than on mediocre but overpaid European import players.

Among other things Jasmin Repesa says Malaga signed Plaza in January

translation

About staying in Malaga there was no talks from February. In January Unicaja signed Joan Plaza and evrything was clear. But I was not alowed to talk about it, just like I was not alowed to talk about NT...

Sulejmanović didn't turn 18 yet. Seems like the young core is staying... unless Olimpija would get offered some noticable buyout for Blažič, but those seems to be rare nowadays.
