It would be a damn hot summer.

No usual Maccabi fans presence cause we would be busy holding fingers not to lose Pargo/Eidson/Perkins. :p

Efes/Fener will pour huge sums to ensure their presence in Istanbul Final Four. Barca / Real will rebuild itself as usual, luring the best ACB players. CSKA is starting from scratch. Caja Laboral need to sign mucho players. Greek taxes raised , so many Greeks will consider leaving home . A possible NBA lock out.

Damn hot, isn't it ? :D

They didn't raise any taxes in Greece. That already happened. There are no new tax raises. The Greek clubs already played this entire season with the new tax rate.

I don't understand what you are trying to say here. The clubs have already been playing the higher tax rate this season.

As for TBL being the second best domestic league in Europe (which seems to be the new fad claim around these forums)...............please give me a break.

The Greek League and Italian League are clearly better than the Turkish League. And if you want to count the Adriatic as a domestic one it is too. I wouldn't count VTB as a domestic one.

There is absolutely nothing to base these claims around here that the TBL is the second best domestic league in Europe. To be honest, anyone making that claim is very lacking in European basketball knowledge.

And as to the "serious domestic league" claim and that being listed as the ACB - how is the ACB a "serious" league? Again this makes no sense at all. It is the best domestic league in Europe but it is not a "serious" league.

There are all kinds of joke teams in the ACB, just like in every other domestic league. Why in the world this nonsense started in this forum that the ACB clubs are all good is beyond me.

It has a bunch of joke teams every year the same way. That is not a "serious" league.

As for the other popular claim in this forum these days - "Greek League is a 2 team league". Well if this is true then the Turkish League is a 0 team league.

It is unbelievable that someone could claim A1 is a 2 team league and TBL is a 4 team league. if you are using that standard then TBL is a 0 team league. Because Efes and Fener are not close to PAO and Olympiacos and teams like Banvit, Besiktas, Galatassary, etc. are no better than teams like Aris, PAOK...

in fact they are no better than Panellinios, Kolossos, Kavala, etc. The Turkish League is in no way as good as the Greek League, Italian League, Adriatic League, sorry. And the ACB is insanely overrated in this forum.

The fans around here are becoming more and more like NBA fans every day with their ranking how good things are based solely on something from their own imagination and nothing on any fact, analysis, nor objectivity.

Seriously............the German League is every bit as good, if not better than the Turkish League is. Hell, maybe even the French League is also better. The Russian League is probably better also.

TBL is not the second domestic league in Europe. Not even close.

Pargo agreed and will sign during the week, Eidson is closing too.

u are one of the lonely fans here who undesrtand that eidson is absolutely a player u can release. bogdnvic..really there is a chance to add hom? in this case is even silly not releasing eidson

Please tell me that they didn't really claim that Turkish league is second best in Europe?

It has nothing on Spanish, Greek, Adriatic or Italian leagues. Even VTB with its extremely retarded format is way better than it.

Rumours about Svetislav Pesić and Caja Laboral.

Serbian coach and Querejeta, Baskonia chairman, talked this morning at Vitoria.

do u all think grecian teams , will have consequences by the grecian's crisis or owners are so indipendent by the greek reality?

vtb better then turkish:eek: haha

In greece panathinakos and olimpiakos dominated their league, win everygames:),so thts why turkish league more excited.

But ı admit course panathinakos and olimpiakos much better then efes and fener.

End of year we have over 12.000 capacity arenas in istanbul.Galatasaray will build too.Sinan Erdem,Abdi İpekçi,Ulker arena, and Galatasaray.

Aleksandar Dzikic will sing for KK Zagreb?

Not done deal, but he was this week in Zagreb

Hopefully they will sing him, especially if they enter Euroleague. They need much better coaching than they have

Olympiakos has proposed a 2 year contract to Guy Pnini. Arik Krayn, Pnini's agent: "Of course, it's very flattering that a big club, like Olympiakos shows interest". Nevertheless, Maccabi has the 1st option on Guy, and he's expected to re-sign the 3 years extension in Tel-Aviv.

Rumors in Israel: Maccabi is checking the status of Gustavo Ayon. Anything in Spain?

Just today are starting to appear that rumours.

Edit: some NBA teams were following him too.

Quite strange not to see Martynas Gecevicius in your rumors list. As i remember in last season, only miracle won,t allow him to be part of Unicaja. I suppose they,re still dreaming to sign him.

Unicaja has one of worst scouting ever. Always geting some average players or veterans that are on down side for to much money. Realy don't understand them. Lacking balls or knowlege

Everything you say is true. This summer I hope to do better. The budget has been cut from 18,000,000€ to 16,000,000€

Is a possibility, but has not yet been rumors about it. Now the priorities are:

-The coach (Chus Mateo will continue 90%)

-Two PG

-An important perimeter player (SF)
