I've gotta say, the French have looked pretty solid during their training camp. Based on their play, I expect them to contend for one of the automatic bids to London if they can sustain no major injuries.

France is the favourite but I have a feeling it won't be an easy game for France.Anyway France will win.

It should be walk in the park for France. Latvia with so many players missing and almost 2nd team won't be able to put a fight for too long IMO.
Interesting thing is how many our neighbours will come to support their NT, maybe that could help a bit.

However, gool luck, Latvia

As if it is not enough Latvian offense is awful, they play against arguably best defense of the tournament. I can not predict final score here, but I can predict score after 3 quarters: 60-30 for France. Judging by preparation games, then Collet will put in offensively inept bench and lead will be significantly cut in last quarter.
France by 15 to 20.

Although France is a very unpredicted team, they can lose to anyone, i voted for them to win this game.

France is an overrated team but that doesn't mean they'll lose against rookies.

Janis Blums 190-G-82
Janis Strelnieks 191-G-89
Dairis Bertans 192-G/F-89
Edgard Jeromanovs 186-G-86
Mareks Jurevicus 198-G/F-85
Rihards Kuksiks 198-G/F-88
Davis Bertans 205-C-92
Mareks Mejeris 207-F-91
Arturs Berzins 204-C-88
Rolands Freimanis 207-C/F-88
Andrejs Selakovs 210-C-88
Martins Meiers 206-C-91

Latvia by seven at the end of one, excellent shot to end the quarter btw, France as always looking disappointing. :(

dam, who is that Blums? great player!

He plays in Spain, Bilbao if I'm not mistaken. He used to play for Lietuvos Rytas, and for whatever reaseon he wasn't as good as expected... I think he just couldn't find his place in team...

I must say i'm impressed with Latvia verry mature play in this 1st quarter...Hope they will continue this way....

P.S. nice banner on the stands Latvia-We belive!:D

Go brothers latvians!!! .. though i'm afraid it won't last for long:D
